taarabt or barton?

i feel that if warnock left adel as captain there would be no fuss of him leaving nobody would try buy a club captain.
i also feel that taarabt stud out as captain and was fantastic as captain last year were barton hasnt done much

 

Derry was the real captain last year imo

Why would noone try and buy a captain? Taarabt was never the real captain anyway, it was just giving a baby his rattle.

Can see where you are heading at Josh, but in all fairness Taarabt wanted away from us at the summer, you can't have him as a captain not knowing if he is going to be sold or not.
Agree with StanleyBowlesNo10 real captains last year were Derry and Hill.

Barton's role as captain is certainly an issue to discuss.
An superb captain has to be the leader on the pitch, has to have excellent motivational and organization skills and being the extension of the Managers ideas, game plan on the pitch.
Massive bonus of course is his love for the club.

The part which is also very important is that when things go bad on the pitch, players turn to their captain and see what he is doing about it.
Unfortunately Barton's play in last couple of games has risen questions not only by fan's but players as well.
