I would not take Boyd in a lucky bag. Lazy, surly and vastly overrated. The did not call him the "Tarbolton Scowler" for naught.

Not a team player, no good to man nor beast.

    Apart from that he's ok.

Dev, my problem with wondering would I like Boyd, is that in all the games Celtic played Rangers when he was with them he was either,
on the bench or else he didn't turn up. He seemed capable of scoring a few when playing against teams that were Rangers friendly.
I think we should pass on him, and at the same time thank the Lord that we did not finish up last summer with Wayne Bridges.
Bridges is a first class player in his own eyes, and has fooled a few managers who have access to more money than sense.
True Blue, I appreciate has probably watched him playing about 20 games a season, as he supports so many teams but it would have been difficult to see him too often last season or this season has he has not been exactly number 1 left back with the lush money -bags Man city.

el kaddouri is awful, thankfully we only signed him until jan. maybe if he got a run in the team he would turn out to be a capable defender, the only issue is so far he has been awful and I hope he never gets the chance to prove himself.

Re the boyd thing, it's just the usual pish from the journo's, lenny said that he is a proven scorer and the fact he used to play for them would not stop him looking at him. the DR and the sun turn this into lenny ready to sign boyd. boyd is a big fat lazy twat. i cannot see him anywhere near celtic.

i think he will sign for them, him and ally will thrash the deal out over a few pies

He was absolutely gash! Awful .. one of many failures by Mowbray (biggest two were not going for Fletcher n McCarthy)

The McCartney one was stupid, he didn't think he was ready for the first team but he would be captian by now if we signed him the boy is fantastic.

He choise Fortune ahead of Fletcher which I can see what he was thinking, he was wrong very, very, very wrong. He didn't give a flying monkey about the defence he ripped it apart because he didn't rate it and replace it with hee haw. The man was an moron, how he's managing to keep a side near the top of the Championship is beyond me. Sorry bit of a tangent but feels good to get it off my chest.

Fletcher was Strachan / boards fault not Mowbray , he should have been bought in January, 4 in a row would have been tied up !! Be honest wasn't that impressed with him at Hibs , sure has proved me wrong scored over 20 epl goals in 2011 ,big mistake I blame lawell

I notice Tom/cat seems to be getting very angry now.
He ripped into you Harry, without reason a few days ago and now he is showing his wrath against big Tony.
I don't think Tony minds very much, he would be likely to give him a fool's pardon.

I wasn't too happy with Mowbray myself, but sure he is long gone and best forgotten.
