    Not surprised tbh.

I've met some complete cretins who go to our games just to get high, seek violence with away fans etc.

There's idiots in the Leazes who don't even watch the game and spend the match facing and chanting at the away support, so they often miss goals <doh>

249 people from the North East that need banning from ever attending football matches again. Some may deserve a second chance, but I'd bet more than 75% of them have been in trouble before.

To be fair, the size of our followings would suggest we are likely to have a higher number. A more interesting stat would be ratio of good and bad and to work out a percentage. Both clubs would probably come out more favourably there

Every club has its knob heads. I've even seen fathers fighting on the touchline whilst watching their kids play for their schools.

I find it canny funny tbh. <laugh> Most of them are horrible little cretins who deserve it for one reason or another anyway.

Reminds me of one of me dad's mates got arrested for doing a **** on St Andrews street after a game <laugh>

<laugh> That reminds me of a time I got caught pissing on a wall in Southampton. Did not get arrested as I startled the poor policemen and found out they from near where I was born.... <scottish solidarity>!!

Yes I have never got that. Why get so involved and create a negative atmosphere for your son?

It was a match against Chelsea a few years back when I came over from Brussels to watch and I was in the away pub having a beer and chatting with some bloke who said he'd show me where the stadium was. His mate arrived a few minutes later and told me to **** off for my own safety as he wasn't actually heading towards the stadium but away from it for a fight.

Still can't see the attraction to it.

One reason only you can't see the attraction to it, is you are a football ssupporter, they are just Richard Heads.

Agree their is some absolute arseholes who go to games. But imo the police just don't help themselves. Away fans get treat like caged animals, so they will act like caged animals.

Coming out the Sports Direct Arena last season was a joke, police pushing people down the stairs. West Midland Police just seem to like to cause nuisance too.

Don't think Badger comes into that category, he might be a bit on the noisy side but it's just getting behind the team.

Another reason could be that both our clubs are less tolerant to the behaviour of these so called fans and are more likely to have them prosecuted. It has often been said that some clubs just throw those apprehended out of the ground so no arrests are made whereas our badly behaved fans are arrested and visit the magistrates court soon afterwards.

It happens all over sport, but it really is the minority that spoil it, i recently went to watch England vs New Zealand rugby league game at KC stadium. for those not into RL in Hull they are to teams KR and FC.. basically we was all sat together just enjoying the game except for 1 nob trying to cause trouble all game just because KR fans was sat near him.

Basically comes down to people being scummy morons, sports is something to be enjoyed not to get violent over.
