Kevin Davies starts most of our games, and was only dropped for Blackburn and another game further back.

N'Gog was surprisingly good in the air against Blackburn (Samba) so if you hear N'Gog instead of Davies I would concentrate on him <ok>

Here's a happy piece of info.

Last season we went to Bolton with Colo and Willo at centre half, they both had shockers and we got thumped 5-1. :D

N'Gog isn't that bad, just can't score (we rely on midfielders and Klasnic to score)/

  5. Remember that Nolan and Enrique gave away two stupid pens though. Also Chung Yong Lee's goal, the 2nd goal, was offside.

    My memory is good :)

Nevertheless, Willo and Colo were both utter ****s that day and got themselves suspended. The whole team reacted to when the Bolton player they were kicking the **** out of elbowed Willo in the face earlier in the game, and lost their discipline.

You must be correct, shall we call it 2-1 then?

    <doh>

    The score is the score.

  8. If you read the comment you were responding to you ****ing idiot, you'd see that I wasn't trying to say we were unlucky or that the score wasn't the score. 5-1 was the score end of, but AG posted a comment saying that last time we visited your place, Colo and Willo had shockers and we lost 5-1, but I was just trying to point out that you can't blame our CB's for 3 of the goals we conceded against you. Nolan, Enrique and an offside goal made 3 of the goals.

Colo was at fault for one of them for try and a stupid trick when he was the last man back, and another was just a good goal.

So we shouldn't **** ourselves about the Colo and Willo omen at the reebok.

    Calm down.

You said that 'Willo and Colo were both utter ****s that day and got themselves suspended.', but they didn't have shockers?

Edit: Even a Newcastle fan can not see your logic.

  13. I never said they didn't have a bad game ffs <doh> Please learn to read and also learn to look at comments that people are responding to.

I'm saying that 3 of the 5 goals weren't to do with Colo and Willo's faults. They had a bad game, but it wasn't their fault we conceded so many goals.

They played badly but it's not right to think "last time Colo and Willo were at the Reebok, we conceded 5 goals" and worry about that fact. People need to remember the reasons for conceding each particular goal, and I was pointing out that 3 of the goals were completely out of Colo and Willo's hands.

Whether they played poorly or not the last time doesn't really matter - The game has to be played and they're the best we've got. There's nothing that can be done.

The way I see this game is that we have won our first game in a while and it was convincingly won. We kept good possession and we passed better than we have done all season. If we keep that system going, I doubt an off-form Tiote will be able to have a big say on if we can keep that style of play going. Our defence is leaking goals, and we have just lost Alonso, our new LB, for 4-6 weeks, so that won't help.

Newcastle, on the other hand, have played quite a good few teams and have played well and then lost them, which has seemed to destroy their ability to win and have not won in quite a while as well. Taylor seems to have been a massive loss in the air, as you keep conceding goals that you was not conceding a few months ago. I watched 60 minutes of the West Brom game and this seemed to be the case.

I can only see this being a high scoring game, unless the strikers have a crap day, and I can't see who is going to win. We have not had a draw this season, and this game will be no different, as I fully expect one team to take all three points. I have no clue who.

If Cahill can impress in one of his last games in a Bolton shirt to prove to Chelsea that he is good enough, and Wheater/Zat Knight can stop Ba from making an impact in the first 20 minutes, then I can see us not conceding too many. If we can play like we did against Blackburn, creating space around the man with the ball and playing short, simple passes before making devastating runs through the centre onto the wing, then I can see us getting a win. If though, If.

Ba is on fire and we have Cabaye back. The only worry I have is Raylor and I have a feeling Ameobi will play I don't know why.

  17. I'm going for something like Bolton 2-3 Newcastle or maybe a 4-3 thriller.

We seriously missed Cabaye on Wednesday, no one else in the team can dictate play anything like him, even Tiote. He'll be a significant return for us, even if it's at the expense of Vuckic, who was class.

  19. We totally missed Cabaye vs WBA. Tiote and Simmo laughably tried Cabaye-esque long passes and through balls and 9 times out of 10 failed miserably.

We need his vision and execution of passes.
