i don't think Liverpool can come back to the level of " big four " , a bit disappointed at that ! lack of some wonderful matches ! please log in to view this image
wold liverpool fans blame the beaten wife in an abusive domestic relationship ? no but they blame the victim of a racist attack.
Kenny has made a tactical error here. Defending the indefensible is never a good thing. He could have said that he knows that Suarez is not a racist and he will support the man and not the actions he is supposed to have committed. He will surely regret putting the whole club in a position of supporting a man found guilty of racist remarks.
Liverpool have the right to claim the punishment was excessive. They have the right to appeal it however the manner in which this protest was conducted was a little embarrassing. Suarez admitted making a racist comment and so gets supported for it? WTF!
if kenny had come out straight after and said liverpool doesn't support racism of any kind and that they will look into the matter, suarez had come out and apologised to evra and claimed it to be a heat of the moment thing, do you think it might've just blown over. The fact remains that liverpool have put themselves in the spotlight now, rather than just suarez and have become a national laughing stock
