Have just been looking at the fixtures in January and i was thinking if we can get 4 points of out the next two games, i see no reason why we can't win all four games in January, Derby Peterborough Doncaster and Reading, 3 of the 4 coming at home as well i think we can really make a claim for the automatics. Good days to be a Tigers Fan UTT
imo, i think your on the money with ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ this. with the team that we have and the squad players We have a great chance of many points in the next few games. i dont see anyone NB wants to keep leaving and with just quality arriving...whoever that maybe. as for the FA Cup match ? i think that NB will play the squad players as they need a game and along with any new signings. as you said, its never been so exciting to be a hull city fan and santa has yet to drop in at the kc.
I see no reason why we cant draw at boro and beat burnley IMO we were by far the better side when we played Burnley at home and would of run out comfortable winners if it wasnt for a 15 minute laps in concentration
I think you're reasoning is sound, but it fails to take into account that whenever we start to think of ourselves as favourites, we usually cock it right up. And that goes back through different managers and squads.... Remember Millwall with Pearson in 2010? Leeds with Brown in 2007? Huddersfield with Taylor in our Lge 1 season? No such thing as an easy streak... a run of "winnable" games can be just as nerve-wracking
Agreed but thats why i think Barmby is perfect for the job atm because he has been through all those runs and has experienced from it, which would mean his experience helps it from not happening again, agreed we are bound to go through a sticky patch and lose games we should win..... but every team goes through that
Reading have been creeping up the table, recently beatig tws, west ham and outplaying southampton in a 1-1 draw. Toughest looking game in January but knowing city it'll be the one we take 3 points from! Though we've got the points when favourites V Coventry and Millwall, we just need to avoid complacency and keep working hard and we'll get the results.
