It's true though he's not good enough. There is no feeling sorry for him because he's paid enough I'm sure. The fact is Williamson is actually na fairly good defender at this level and even if he only plays 45 mins we might do better if Perch comes on as a sub.

Just stating facts, if he was good enough why we in a market for a defender? Go and watch the goals and then tell me he is good enough!

correct in every sense of the word. Some people onkly noticed Colo failing to save are arses because he was trying to. Where was Perch exactly????

James Perch's biggest problem is.............he doesn't anticipate the second ball.

On the 2nd and 3rd goals last night, seeing as the ball was going over his head - He totally switches off. He is as much use at Centre Back then a chocolate fireguard.

He should been marking his man or at least anticipating the ball coming back across goal for that 2nd goal. He also should have anticipated the ball being knocked back on the 3rd goal.

It's pretty basic stuff. It's like you can see the thoughts going around his thick head. "Oh well the ball's going over my head, thank god I dont need to deal with it, oh hang on its come back across, I better......GOAL. Oh, sh*t. How did that happen?"

Get him out the f*cking team. Now!

    :D

Im not denying for 1 second that he's not good enough but he is not to blame for everything. He has been drafted into the side as we are bitterly short of Cb's and he's doing the best a job he can. We dont really have much choice but to pick him untill Willo is match fit.

I wouldnt even have a view if i hadnt seen the goals would i? .. Colo and Krul where equally to blame if not more to blame so should we buy a new keeper as well?? And even if he was good enough that would still only make 3 first choice Cb's, one of who is not fit yet, so we would still need to buy one

Sorry but did you even see the match ???? .. I think you will find in at least 2 of the goals Colo was nowhere and it was Perch making a lung busting run trying to cover the goal line or just get in front of the goal .. not Colo.

Lets just drop Colo and play Perch with Wiliamson then? I can't undestand this ? just drop Perch end of he's always lung bursting my soul to death.

Here are the highlights, you will see Perch ball watching for their last 2 goals! I'm not saying he is soley to blame, but if he had done what a 9 year old is taught and simply stay tight to his man, he could have stopped those 2 goals. He did this against Norwich aswell. I'm not blaming him for our bad form, but he has cost us points when he has played, infact I don't think we've won when he as started!

Dont think i said that at all .. I was highlighting that i completely disagree with you saying Colo was the one trying to save our arses when it was Perch, And no we should not drop Colo, he is the better defender, he had one bad game and he's our captain

Perch failed to mark his man which is worse than what Colo did in my opionion.

Don't think he won a header all game to be honest, made some good tackles and interceptions but both he and Colo couldn't handle Long and Odemwingie.

Hopefully Willo's back to partner Colo against Bolton, they formed a decent partnership over the past few seasons. The return of Cabaye should also help.

Couldn't agree more, however I'm concerned Pardew won't change the side at all given he's talking about us creating loads of chances and being unlucky.

when i watched the game, i thought he done ok and thought colo had a shocker, but when i see the highlights perch is partly to blame for 2 goals. He cannot mark a player and cannot head to save his life

Perch is no doubt a worse player than Coloccini, however Perch was better than Colo vs WBA. Colo just looked unfit

I disagree with the last part then. If he shouldn't have played due to injury it is incredibly selfish to declare yourself fit. If you aren't fit you will be hindering your team and a player who is fit would be a better option. Captain my arse.
