We need some ideas, how about (to the tune of she'll be coming round the mountain): We'll be watching James Chester tackle hard! We'll be watching James Chester tackle hard! We'll be watching James Chester watching James Chester watching James Chester tackle hard! Singing I love City, Cityhull Singing I love City, Cityhull Singing I love City I love City I love City, Cityhull We'll be watching Robert Koren pass the ball etc Singing I love City, Cityhull etc We'll be watching Super Stewart down the wing etc Singing I love City, Cityhull etc We'll be watching Matty Fryatt score the goals etc Singing I love City, Cityhull etc We'll be watching Hull City over lands etc Singing I love City, Cityhull etc
Someone suggested 'All you need is Hull' to the tune of All you need is love, can't remember who it was, but i thought that would work pretty well!
Liking them both. Have to admit my desire to have a club song! All we need is Hull - good, a crowd pleaser I predict for the supporters around me and in general, can't see it happening but would be good if it got everyone going. The other one is also inventive - coming up with the excessive lines but I think we'd get lost with what were singing
Like this. But needs more inventiveness in the verses. (no, I'm not your man!) Good chorus, includes 'City 'Ull', easy song, chance to recognise each player, and an anthem that could go on and on as they should. Needs a few to really get hold of this and do something with it.
I think next season when we have a clear first XI then the song would be great to invent. It would go on a bit but it's only like 10 green bottles on the wall or however the song goes.
as long as the new unofficial song is better than the old official ones, who remembers 'our song' and 'the tigers, sitting on top of the world' by 'straight as quo'! both terrible songs!! more recently the 'citys on fire' song was actually quite catchy!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_xSD_JL-o14 cant find anything on 'our song' but i have it on CD!
Songs that could be used for David Amoo could be - KLF ...Moo Moo Land, or maybe something to agadoo??
Could lead quite nicely into E-I-E-I-E-I-O Nigel Pearson had a team E-I-E-I-O E-I-E-I-E-I-O Up the football league we go.
Nah. Beatles therefore Merseyside therefore can't be ours. The 'With a Amoo-moo here ...' one could be good, but not an anthem. Really think we could do something with the following if someone can work out a few timeless versus to go with this chorus.... Singing I love City, Cityhull Singing I love City, Cityhull Singing I love City I love City I love City, Cityhull Needs a coach or mini bus load to work on it on the way to Forest then get it going during the match and we're up and running. Goolies? Driff Tigers? Anyone?
City going up the table when we win City going up the table when we win City going up the table, going up the table Going up the table when we win. Singing I love City, Cityhull Singing I love City, Cityhull Singing I love City I love City I love City, Cityhull
Madness - Our House: "King's Town - in the middle of England, King's Town - in the middle of England" ----------------------------------------- Madness - It must be love: As soon as I wake up Every night, every day I know that it's you, I need To take the blues away It must be HULL, CIT, EE (de-derr) It must be HULL, CIT, EE (de-derr) Nothing more, nothing less City's the best" --------------------------------- Bob Marley - Redemption Song It's about slavery, so has a link in a way - plus, many will already know it as a lot of people are taught it in school and it's got quite strong sounding words to it which will sound loud when sung... "Old pirates, yes, they rob I; Sold I to the merchant ships, Minutes after they took I From the bottomless pit. But my hand was made strong By the 'and of Tigernation. We forward in this generation Triumphantly. Won't you help to sing This songs of freedom 'Cause all I ever have: Hull City songs; Hull City songs." ------------------------------------------------- The Clash - Rock the Casbah "The league don't like it (do-do-do-doo-doo) SUPER CITY! SUPER CITY! The league don't like it (do-do-do-doo-doo) SUPER CITY! SUPER CITY!"
It's time there was a new version of the Geo song; Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na, Mannone, Manonne Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na, Mannone, Manonne Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na Vito Mannone, he's City number one
Good one. Maybe Vito - Mannone instead of 2 Mannone's. Get it going when he's at our goal. He responds when the crowd cheer him. Did against Reading at Home let's make him feel welcome!
