The agent of Independiente star Patricio Rodriguez is staying tightlipped over interest from Manchester United. Buenos Aries sources say United have been scouting the 21 year-old attacking midfielder this season, along with Benfica. Rodriguez's agent, Silvio Sandri, revealed: "The only thing I can say is that the Patito will leave Independiente to play in Europe when the market reopens. "There are many interested clubs and he feels prepared to embrace a new challenge. You can still judge for yourselves, I would only play him if Park, Gibson and Fletcher were not available obviously. We were linked with him in the summer too, so the scouts that have been keeping an eye on him clearly rate him also.
