The agent of Independiente star Patricio Rodriguez is staying tightlipped over interest from Manchester United. Buenos Aries sources say United have been scouting the 21 year-old attacking midfielder this season, along with Benfica. Rodriguez's agent, Silvio Sandri, revealed: "The only thing I can say is that the Patito will leave Independiente to play in Europe when the market reopens. "There are many interested clubs and he feels prepared to embrace a new challenge. "I cannot say if he'll go to Benfica, Manchester United or another club." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S_PvLb7lyi0&feature=player_embedded This kid looks ****ing magic(the goal on 50 seconds is top drawer). I can see him going to Benfica to replace Gaitan, then switching agents to Mendes before joining us for £40m in two years time!
I was just about to say that. As soon as I anything about a young kid and there's a YouTube video attached- alarm bells start ringing.
You can still judge for yourselves, I would only play him if Park, Gibson and Fletcher were not available obviously. We were linked with him in the summer too, so the scouts that have been keeping an eye on him clearly rate him also.
