not a bad player to have to rely on to come up with the goods I guessThey are the best ‘team’ I’ve watched so far, albeit France clearly have the best individuals.Argentina only slightly reliant on Messi thennot a bad player to have to rely on to come up with the goods I guess

And they can afford to rest Messi for the next group game at least. Plus it looks like they’ll have an easy R32 game.
Edit: Looks like they’ve got it relatively easy to the quarters.

So the forecast for Boston today is 19 degrees and rain. Are FIFA really going to insist the 3 minute "hydration" break is for the safety of the players?
That was purely due to the 2 hour delay though. No chance they'll drop hydration breaks for anything else. They dropped one during the France game due to the delays with the storm. Hopefully they use common sense for this too
Agreed. They had them in the England-Croatia game that was played in an indoor, air-conditioned stadium so I doubt they'll stop. That was purely due to the 2 hour delay though. No chance they'll drop hydration breaks for anything else.
TBH I think it would be fine with coaching if the break only lasted 1 minute.I sort of get why it is all or nothing - but that in itself is FIFA admitting that either it is for commercial breaks or that the break actually can change a game momentum. If a team is on the rack and there is no hydration break then it is 'unfair' as another team gets one in another game and can turn it round.
How about only having a 1-2 min break if needed where the teams congregate in the centre circle and drinks are brought out to them. No coaching.
Because that would be a proper hydration break so not enough time for the Ads.I sort of get why it is all or nothing - but that in itself is FIFA admitting that either it is for commercial breaks or that the break actually can change a game momentum.
