Looks good Ric, i started gardening Last year for first time i had never done any at all in my life, grandkids like it said i did a good job on it :emoticon-0100-smile
I'm complete opposite, I can't stand doing gardening. If I had my way when I was married twice i'd have concreted the gardens and painted 'em green but had to garden to keep the frigging peace.

It was actually someone on here who said to me to try it to pull myself out of a slump i was in,never bothered for few months as could not be bothered and in all honesty thought it would not help, but when i did get going i started to like it after a month or so more i did and changed it the more i wanted to do bit more.

Its only a small garden and i built the flower beds myself and started to learn about acer trees.

It was a mental issue i was failing to cope with, i know i spoke to Toast and he PM and i think i dropped Ric a message by accident when it was meant for Toast so could be Toast who recommended i try the gardening.

Good for you.If it's prompted you into doing something and it's helped then it's served the purpose, keep it up :emoticon-0148-yes:

When we go up North we generally pick up a bit of old rock from beside a loch or a river and use it in the garden, it brings back memories of good times we've had .There's some amazing old bits of stone to be had up here.

That looks great Ric. However you have missed a great opportunity to have 2 round balloons either side and a long one in the middle on each tree (penis stylee), this is great for comic effect and to see the look of absolute disgust on your Mrs' face.

I know what you mean

Ive always worked with computers
But theres nothing to show for that you can visibly see

I get so much more satisfaction putting up a shelf <laugh>

I even miss the old days when you bought video games from the store and could read the manual on the way home
Or buying a cd

I think digital stuff is a worse experience in everyway
