Why would Levy do this...?Di Marzio says we’ve bid €75m, Toon want €85m.

There would’ve been a decimal point in Levy’s first offer, lol.Why would Levy do this...?

On the other hand, the PIF has been turning off the tap for the past six months for most of their sportswashing endeavors, which is going to hit Newcastle right in the PSRholeBBC reporting we've had an £80m bid rejected.
Toon holding out for closer to £100m it seems.
Not sure who will blink first on this but they're plush with cash from the Gordon sale so aren't exactly in a corner.

The story of the last two seasons for both Newcastle and Forest is pretty similar: punched way above their weight class a couple of seasons ago (helped in no small part by us and Man Utd being on snooze mode) and thought they'd moved up a level, only to drift back down to their level the following season as two games a week broke their squadIsak, Gordon and possibly Tonali all in a year.
Toon ended their trophy drought and then went backwards
I’ve long said I’d sell every one of our young players anyway so I’m not too arsed. All of them may prove good/ great in the future and I’d say he’s the one with the highest ceiling but we just don’t have the time to wait after the seasons we’ve had. So far - Savinho aside - I back every single one of RDZ’s targets; Prem proven players who in theory should come straight into the side and immediately improve us:Bergvall has reportedly informed the club that he wants to move on and seeks fresh challenge.
I wouldn't stand in his way. Awful injury record and aside from glimpses of quality here and there, his impact has been negligible and certainly not in line with the hype surrounding him.
There's a player in there, somewhere, but right now he looks totally lost.

I don’t think it’s him having a bad attitude or sulking.Disappointed in his attitude if true. Thought better of him, but as others have said, I'm not fussed about him leaving, as long as we get good money for him.
A bit like usIsak, Gordon and possibly Tonali all in a year.

Did Spurs go backwards from 2025 though?A bit like us
I hardly felt like progressDid Spurs go backwards from 2025 though?
Finished same position but with more points.
