the new SCR rules are basically a mirror of UEFA rules except ours penalise clubs in European comps so not really engineered by the supposed greedy 6 particularly as at least 14 of the PL clubs must have voted for them .

Newcastle voted for them... Unfortunately it benefits Newcastle in a similarly disgusting way, because we have the 7th highest revenue and it'll grow... It basically means while we can't spend as much as the big 6, we can always spend more than the rest of the **** clubs. It keeps us safer too

Football is essentially rigged and the product on the pitch is a fake competition.

We're addicted though, so.

if it was rigged how did the "big 4" become the "big 6" ?

They spent loads of money like the 4 did in the past.
I take it you are including Spurs in this big 6 and yes they spent money but it was on a stadium not the team and since they had the stadium they have been flirting with relegation <laugh>

Basically you were in a position to be one of the elite clubs but no work on infrastructure and shoddy transfer dealings have hampered you as much as financial rules.

It's the rules that have essentially rigged the order of football almost regardless of one or two bad or good seasons respectively. Some clubs won the big hands at the right time and that was that unfortunately for us.

It's not rocket science and it's why like I say Newcastle saw the benefit of them too.

Football isn't a fair competition.. It's not really a competition at all... It's a product.

Being at the top when the foreign markets and TV money went global.

Regardless a competition is defined by a set of criteria which is equal to all entrants or more accurately a level playing field, but that's not what football is at all. We've got a competition where 14 participants have their wings clipped.

Rightly or wrongly the clubs that win everything now and as things stand 'forever' are essentially Lance Armstrong, because they have unfair advantages.

Scrap SCR psr or at least cap wages and spend and make it the same for everyone. That would be a competition though, so we know that won't happen.

well considering over a third of PL play in European competitions of course it won't

Except for the grossly exorbitant money clubs get for playing in Europe (yes, us included) which then rebalances the odds.

As far as the voting aspect is concerned it's a metaphorical choice of having one hand chopped off or two hands chopped off. You pick the better of two evils.

Financial fair play rules will never be fair until the capital debt aspect is addressed. Guess which clubs generally have the biggest debt.
