Fond of a Guinness if it’s a pint or two after work or pre-football situation. Amazes me people get through them like lagers all day/night.

But yes, high in purines. The doc sorted me a prescription for what is basically a stronger ibuprofen and got an appointment in a couple of weeks to probably get some regular meds to keep the old uric acid levels low. Been a grim week.

Managed to get my trainers on with only mild discomfort so reading ‘A Season With Verona’ by Tim Parks at the park. Good football book if anyone is looking for one.

My mate suffered from gout, since his early 40's he doesn't like taking meds so tried all the alternative stuff, non worked, so reluctantly went on meds, about 4 yrs ago he started the wim hof cold water therapy, cold water 5 minute shower every morning, apparently gets rid of your bodies inflammation, stopped taking the meds about 9 months after starting it.

Will give anything a go. Not got any drinking occasions coming up other than the Croatia game I’m meant to be at the pub for but always happy to avoid alcohol anyway. Will lay off fatty meat for a bit as much I enjoy half a kilo of steak at a time.

I don't think I've ever had a guiness you know... If I have I can't remember, but it's possibly one of those unbelievable things, like the fact I've never been to Beamish, or watched Rambo.

it’s an old man’s drink

Which is why fosse drinks it :bandit:

This is a nice set-up if you’ve got it to yourself. Would be pretty happy left in a room with this, a toilet, a TV and a full fridge for the duration of the World Cup.

Decided to use the bog, nice quiet **** as we're sharing a 'flat' of four. This is the team management.

As I walk out, two of the Malaga set up walk in to use the rowers.

**** sake, what's give it five lads in Espanõl?
