He's like a little robot or Dalek...score against the mackem... Iwatch him in other games and he's cack.
We know Shola's **** but he pops up with amazing goals at random times. The one against Spurs for example He's crap when he starts, but as a super sub he's sometimes amazing.
We're in Europe and 10 points ahead of the dirty scum, I don't think we need to be worrying too much just yet. In fact, the fact that you are delighted with wins against QPR and Blackburn and being 10 points behind us is a sign of how far we have progressed, and how far ahead of you we are now
Nigerian-born Ameobi had a three-year spell with England's under-21 team, netting seven goals between 2000 and 2003.[1] Ameobi is the joint eighth highest goal scorer for the under-21s.[1] Sadly Nigeria didn't qualify for the ACON
My bad you know what I meant though, currently occupying a spot that should see us qualify for the Europa League.
We were starting to think this ourselves this time last year, then were swiftly brought back down to earth with a thump! Far too early to be dusting off your passport mate!
And there, in nutshell, is the flaw in your plan chum. Currently dont buy you **** in December. If you're still there at 6pm on May 13th 2012, then you will have deserved the Europa Cup spot on offer and the accolades that will fall your way from ALL sides of the divide. However, with only 2 points secured from the last 18 played for and with games against a desperate Bolton, Liverpool with Suarez looking for a last hurrah before his exile and a Man Utd side that will be looking for all 3 points this time, you could be realistically looking at only 2 or 3 (draw at Bolton) points from a possible 27 on offer over 9 games. Its well beyond hiccup matey, its bordering on full slump. That failure breeds its own kind of self doubt and like or not, Ba and Tiote are going to be huge, nay massive misses for the next 6 or 8 weeks from early January. You have a moderate team that has over achieved but getting them to bounce back now they have started to taste regular failure (and at home now as well) will be very difficult. Tiote, as had been mentioned and Ba especially, have contributed to so much over the last 16 or so games and I just dont see you scoring many without him (Ba). Not only the 13 goals but the movement and attacking threat he offers for others. Will Best, Amadonkey 1, Amadonkey 2 or Lovenkrands step in with that level of scoring threat? Erm, non in the answer. Will you go out and spend 10m on a replacement? Erm non is the answer as you need defensive recruits and the money wont stretch to a top striker to cover Ba. Unless either Tiote, Krul, Ba or Colo are sacrificed to buy one? PS - I look forward to taking back my statement form your posts over then next few months up to May 13th and chucking them right back at ya. You just may really regret using it chum by the time I'm finished? Lol SAFC = Top NE Club. It will be thus at the end of this season again, as it has for the previous 3 and the filth know it too. End of debate as I have spoken.
Hey buddy, in case you haven't noticed, your team has managed 14 points from 45 and you're one point off relegation places. You aren't in any position to be gloating at a team currently in 6th place, poor recent form or not. You've beat the worst team in the league and, granted, a good result away at QPR. Doesn't make you world beaters, far from it. Your speculations here, by the way, are worthless after you made a fool of yourself in the summer by speculating (as usual) and telling us how all our signings (Ba, Cabaye) were poor and yours were much better. It has been well proven you have no clue what's going to happen so you should put your crystal ball away and check yourself (before you wreck yourself, bitch). P.S. please log in to view this image
I think you've misinterpreted me, I'm saying we are currently in what will probably prove to be a Europe League spot. Not saying we'll be the side occupying that spot at the seasons end. Too true that mate. I fully agree Cest. I think even with Ashley's past record for lying to us, we can safely assume that a decent centre half will be coming into the club in January. Other than that, I would be very surprised to see any outgoings or incomings. Hopefully Ashley will have seen our struggles in the last few games and realised we need to keep hold of our key players. However, I can't see any investment up front, as Leon Best has actually done really well when he's started on his own up front, something like 9 goals in 15 games starting from mid way through last season. While I'm not a fan of best at all, and can't see him getting us goals, Ashley will point to his previous form and say we needn't spend money on a replacement. All in all, I agree we are going to have massive problems without Ba, far more crucial to us than Tiote, he's just pure quality. And I confessed as soon as you appointed MON that I was slightly worried that my sig may come back to bite me, unfortunately it is looking more and more ominous at the moment. I think a few days away from the forum may well be in store for me after May 21st
