We have been linked with him In the Mail .. Seen it a few times in the internet as well.

Apparently it's yet another possible replacement for Tiote.. Its becoming an everyday thing with the press, some simple story to report hopefully and no truth in it.

Plays for Celtic but honestly i have no knowledge of him at all .. Anyone care to enlighten me?

Sorry if its a poor thread lads.

He's crap. Rather have Diame from Wigan.

Know him very well as he used to play for the club in my neighbourhood here in Belgium before being snapped up by Celtic.

An OK player but in no way shape or form half as good as Tiote , makes a few mistakes and isn't as strong physically.

Absolute hellish player. There won't be any truth in it as Pardew is no fan of SPL players let alone one's who haven't done very well up here.

Diame is a great little player. He wouldn't be that expensive and I've heard from a friend that he's looking to leave in January.

He is out of contract in June so will be available cheapish. I think we should be looking to get him in January. Very Tiotesque but has a much more leathal shot on him.

Dont really know much about Diame either .. Which to me says he hasnt stood out much when iv'e seen Wigan on MOTD .. So i've reverted to the old you tube compilation scouting method (Dennis wise-esque) .. He does look a very tidy player .. but is he consistantly like that as Tiote is/was?

MOTD don't generally give much air time to Wigan players so he'd be easy to miss.

He has been celtics best player this year. Can cover both cm and cb well and is an absolute unit. Would be a great buy for cover cb

Yeah but I reckon Amdy Faye would've looked class in the SPL.

Diame has been a beast for Wigan recently, would make good CM cover/competition, at the cost of probably relegating Wigan, which wouldn't be very nice of us.

Hooper, Stokes, Matthews,Forrest just off the top of my head have all been better than Wanyama, I watch a know a lot about Celtic as almost all my mates are Celtic fans and none of them rate him

Hooper has been very hit and miss this year, as has Stokes. Forrest maybe ok but Wanyama is the one who came into the side and made it look solid. Made a real difference to them. I also watch and know a lot as my dad and all my family support them. I can't believe none of your Celtic fan mates rate him!

I would disagree with Hooper he has been excellent again just not as good as last season. When I say they don't rate him mate, i mean rate him enough to make the step up to the English Premier League.

Hooper up until lennon dropped him looked a different player to last year. Didn't seem as interested. Lennon dropped him and he came on as a sub and did well. Since then he has been very good but not all year, whereas wanyama when given a chance i think has been a rock. Better than kayal, ki and ledley. And the best CB as well even though thats not hard at all

The lads 20 years old, and he's not done bad at all like you've tried saying on one your above posts, while i agree he hasn't been their best player, he has indeed been very solid and is still very young.

Wanyama looks poor, definitely not prem standard. Would rather get Diame on a free.

Jock, your friends don't like Wanyama? What's your friends names? Daphne, Cassandra and Penelope???

The guy is a monster. Has been outstanding in the SPL and also tremendous against strong teams such as Atletico Madrid & Udinese.

Kayal, Izaguirre, Forrest, Hooper et al have a chance of doing really well in the game but this kid has the potential to go to a top, top team and be a mainstay for years to come. On the flip side I am very happy if nobody rates him as it means he'll be wearing green and white for years to come

Bound to happen once a silly bid comes in for Tiote.
