They the woke extreme council think people are as thick as **** and believe the woke disinformation if flags on lampposts are dangerous why do their own workmen put signs on lampposts why do the council stick up extremist lgbtq++ flags up !!

The Council leader Tony Dyer's personal hygiene is a health risk. What a mess that man is.

The ****ty greens will hate it because their not Palestine but England looked good last night all putting a shift in playing quickly intensely v a team prepared to put their foot in finished chances like a u11 team but bang up for it!! Gordon might have really taken his chance for the Tuchel nod.

It looks a bit tacky if they’re left up after the event though. Hartcliffe way is a prime example, plus if they’re going to put up union jacks at least make sure they aren’t upside down.

Hartcliffe way flags are down.

Hartcliffe way flags were taken down by the council against the wishes of the local community and none were upside down. They also were not put up as part of a far right campaign as the muggy council told people.

It’s a very sad state of affairs when our people are ‘offended’ or at least, feel negatively, about our own national flag - or the flag they adopted when they made our country their home.
It shows that we truly have lost our sense of identity and values.
I consider myself centre politically- possibly slightly to the right - but only just. Certainly to many posters here I come across as a ‘lefty’, but I feel that the right to display our flag is sacred. It’s NOT fascist or racist - it’s just an emblem of our country and culture.
I was at a Spanish language lesson a few weeks ago and one lady member said she felt intimidated by seeing St George’s flags on lampposts - an ENGLISH lady.
We really are imploding. Destroying ourselves in a frenzy of collective self-hatred and guilt.
I am hanging my St George’s flags outside my house and if anyone doesn’t like them they can go somewhere else. (I had to rewrite this last phrase several times to dilute it!!)

The flags have also been removed along Hengrove way. The flags within Knowle West are still being displayed. Two tier health and safety.

This **** wouldn’t happen in any other normal country

But we all know the elites running this country hate anything to do with national pride. It’s seen as far right and bigoted

They’d rather take the knee for a foreign criminal than be happy seeing the British people flying the Union Jack or St George cross

Kids got the St George out the window now .. on to the football last night South Africa if your gonna get sent of for foul play at least make it serious. Imagine getting sent off that wtf moment you going to be embarrassed by it for ever!!

Seen nothing scary yet. England will reach the semi finals which leaves the big question which player in the squad will be parading around wearing false tits???

Come on the voodoo people v Scotland.

Wasn’t intending to watch any of the WC but after my knee op sleep is hard to come by
You’d think from the reaction that Scotland had won the final
I thought they were poor from the bit I watched

Scotland got the job done with a deflected 1-0 against the pedigree powerhouse 93rd in the world Haiti. Top of the group dontchanowit but you do because the insufferable commentators kept saying it!!!

I watched a bit of Morocco vs Brazil yesterday and I was very impressed with Morocco. Some of their football was quicker than watching a top premiership team.

Re: the Scotland game; one of the reasons given by Scots for supporting England’s opponents is the annoying pundits and news media harping on about us whenever we win.
The media reports of Scotland’s win over the mighty Haiti is actually really annoying, so perhaps I can see where they are coming from <laugh>
