Apparently he's properly registered now, and so presumably could play in the FA Cup

I'd love to see him come off the bench to play some minutes v Cheltenham, as I'm going to that game and would love to see his first team début.

I know he's not proven yet, but I just think Coulibaly's got far more potential than Kane, for example, and no I don't want him playing if Harry doesn't feel he's ready yet.

He's a very exciting prospect, definitely. I too can't wait to see him in action for the first team <ok>

I can't wait to see him step up to the first team - he's looking like a fantastic prospect thus far.

How old is he again? 16?
Wasn't Rooney 16 when he made he debut for Everton?

    Cheers for replies guys <ok>

I think Coulibaly is 17 now, though not sure.

Certainly lots of players have played first team football at his age, even in the top flight. Trevor Francis, Greaves was a phenomenon at 17

SC certainly should be up to Lge 1/2 level, provided he can deal with the physicality. He looks like he could, but obviously the coaches will know far more than any of us re that side.

Pele, WC winner in his teens, as said Rooney burst on the scene in his teens, beaten by Milner of all people regarding youngest goalscorer...names from all ends of the spectrum there, my point is, if they're good enough, get em in!

  7. I'm still waiting for our next Hoddle.

He's been a long time coming.

In regards to Coulibaly, I really hope he gets a chance this season, the game against Cheltenham will be ideal for him, even it's a only 15 minute run out. It'll be nice to see why the kids so highly rated.

Well whatever Coulibaly is, he won't be the next Hoddle. Hod was Spurs through and through, he used to watch us as a kid. I don't think Coulibaly ever stood on the Clock End, next to one his mates who got stabbed. (Read that in Glenn's biograhy)

King is the closest we've had since Hoddle as truly home-grown and brilliant. Even then I doubt he was a Spurs supporter as a kid who used to watch us play home and away.

If you're good enough, you're old enough. Young Wickham is not that much older and he's a first team player for Sunderland.

Ramos was the new Hoddle, at least from a managerial standpoint...
