Shame for him, but don't mind that

He can focus on his recovery in time for our new season.

Yeah, obviously for him, it's a shame he won't get to play at the World Cup.

But on a purely selfish level, I don't mind him being given extra time to recover and get better ahead of the new season.

There are a few players I am worried about playing too many games (e.g. Rice, Saliba) that may impact them heading into next season.

The thing that impacts most is players returning from the World Cup late.
usually they miss the first few games.
You can be sure our schedule will include the toughest games possible to start the season.

Good!
Our injuries have been ridiculous and our players either take too long to come back or come back too soon and get injured again.
How about blaming the manager who overtrains the players, as called out by Eze ! Let me guess, he won the league so now he does nothing wrong and is perfect !! Ffs.

Eze didn't say that.
You have a habit of blaming the manager for everything and holding him totally accountable when things go wrong , but then not giving him credit when things go well, like winning a league. It's always some other reason apart from Arteta when we win the league, but 100% his fault when we don't.
