Livingstone must be pretty annoyed with his team-mates. Scores 81 off 37, then takes 3-17. And his team still lose.

Glamorgan scored 43 from the last 11 (legal) balls, to win off the last ball.

Middlesex, yet again, proving to be the most inept cricketing side in all formats of the game. Some might be a poor 4-day side but find redemption in the T20. It seems the modern game is by-passing Middlesex proving Gatting right in his assertions about their board at the start of the season, and Middlesex's situation being down to poor recruitment in an area with a massive catchment.

That's it, I can't watch any more, we need a bigger miracle than last season to avoid the drop to Div 2.

I suppose the one form that miracle could take is the identity of our second overseas player for the final six games of the season. On paper, there are some nice fixtures in there. If can recruit either a top class spinner or a top class top order batter, then things might look better.

But with our current squad, it's difficult to have nay hope at all.

There's also an argument to be had that Rob Key's position is becoming untenable. The players clearly aren't listening to him so it seems to me he is losing authority quickly.

Sounds increasingly like Stokes may retire as a result of this latest incident. If he does, what a sad way to end a career.
