Newcastle have been bottom of this league the last 3 Seasons - yet were the ones still getting accused to time waisting.

MLS was ready made to replace Merino at LCM, Nwaneri proved he could replace Odegaard or Saka, admittedly we needed replacements for both Saka and Odegaard simultaneously so a replacement for Saka was probably needed, we didn't therefore need Eze. We definitely needed Gyokeres though.

I am probably being stubborn here, I just feel there wasn't enough quality in the league this season (across the whole league), our problems were down to excessive injuries because of excessive training as called out by Eze late in the season and/or a lack of rotation.

Well I suppose Jorginho was getting on in age. But I agree on Kiwior I rated him highly and he just won the league in Portugal.
Mosquera proved decent cover at RCB,LCB and RB and at 21 has bright future IMO.

I actually think Madueke did well as cover for Saka, he doesn't have enough end product but he still ****s defenders up in 1 on 1's. I do think Dowman will overtake him in the next 12-18 months though.

Its what we all saw, that should not be any real surprise, the guy is immense, best CM in the world.

I think he had a poor start to the season, got better, dipped again and then ended the season well.
It's ironic because I thought he was much better last year, but the title elevates players.
As an 8 I think he's very average, as a 6 I think he's top class.
Certainly not the best midfielder in the world IMO, but definitely one of the best in terms of energy and defensive work in midfield.

He's English, though, so he will be over rated.. in this case from a very good player to one that is positioned as the best.
 
Head of Medical Zafar Iqbal has been sacked by Arsenal. Apparently the decision is a huge surprise to the staff. I wonder what caused this?

He did have a poor start to the season, all but the defence did !
 
Both City games done by GW20.
Both Liverpool games done by GW21.

Bit annoying having Chelsea in between the CL-Last16 and then NLD between CL semi final legs but whatever.
