Get in! First time in a while I think where we’ve made two signings in a row that I’m genuinely happy with! Bosssshh.

This is the pedigree I want. Prem proven isn’t just a player that’s played in the Prem, it’s someone who’s actually proven themselves. Senesi was Bournemouth’s POTY in a huge season for them. More of these and we’re laughing.

Up the ****ing spurs.

Yes I’ve had a few beers in Exeter town Center lol.

I’m not hopeful of England’s chance of winning this World Cup and think Tuchel is the wrong choice but always happy to be wrong. Every nation has weaknesses so you never know.
As I was on my lonesome last night I watched that turgid pile of s*** as there was little else on.

Didn't boost my lack of enthusiasm for this tournament at all in all fairness... <laugh>

And I certainly haven't changed my opinion of Toney... His sole contribution in 45 minutes appeared to be diving to try and get a penalty.
Sounds as if he'd be a like for like swap with Pigeon Boy!! <laugh>

Interesting take on new financial rules...

Haven't watched it but I assume it's talking about the new rules the PL has introduced which allow spending of up to 95% of revenue on the squad, compared to UEFA which only allows 70% (which has one purpose and one purpose only: to try to stop PL teams leaving UEFA darlings like Real and Barca in their dust).

95% of our revenue is somewhere between £400-500m.

However none of this makes a difference to us because of the stadium loan covenants, which means we cannot spend more than circa £125m a year on the squad unless we sell players or unless ENIC starts paying off chunks of that debt and renegotiates the covenants.

His commentary was **** and ridiculously biased. Such a fanboy to certain players, excusing their every (repeated) mistakes as 'good efforts' and 'I saw what he tried there' etc, but critical of players/club teams? he doesn't like...notably, Spence and Spurs.
He, along with the studio pundits also don't get Kane. Moaning about him coming deep, when it is a measure of his greatness. They should look at his assist stats.

The same pundits who thought Rooney was brilliant when he did the same thing? Except Kane does it much better, and his passing is probably better than anyone else in the team. It's up to the manager to utilise everything Kane can do, not to have him sit in the box.

If we had someone in midfield as good as Harry Kane passing to Harry Kane you could start putting Englands name on the trophy now
The agenda against Kane is baffling

It has always been the case. Beckham, Owen, Rooney...other countries idolise their best players, we seem to enjoy tearing them down and criticising them at every possible turn.

I took the time to watch it through and I'm sorry mate but it's as I said above.

Not a single word this guy says means anything because he is either unaware or forgot entirely about the limitations imposed by the loan covenants.

In a nutshell, we can't spend more than £125m per year net (which is calculated based on total liability NOT amortised liability) in fees and wages.

So the only way to spend more is to sell players.

That's the crippling mistake we made: we needed two players to replace him, one for the goals and one for the assists

We signed Maddison for the latter and thought Sonny & Richy would do enough to compensate for the former

Weirdly I think Spurs have missed his creativity more than his goals. That’s how good he was/is.

This is the real kicker about him leaving: removing his passing exposed our midfield lacks creativity

Similar happened the summer Keane & Berbatov left and revealed how much they were carrying the team's lack of creativity
