Let's be realistic, we all want these formations with Vuckic further forward with HBA, but we know it wont happen! This is what Pardew will play.

    Krul
    Simpson Perch Coloccini Raylor
    Obertan Cabaye Tiote Jonas
    Ba Best

Pardew will play Best. And Raylor. And Perch. And Obertan.

    Is Williamson fit yet?

I'd like to see (assuming Williamson passed fit):

    Krul
    Santon Williamson Coloccini Raylor
    Tiote Cabaye Jonas
    Ben Arfa
    Ba Best

Won't happen though. And probably for good reason haha

Realistically though, I believe we should play HBA behind Ba and go 1 up top... there's simply not enough creativity coming from midfield. Not enough quality from Obertan and Jonas (who both need to step up to the plate), so we need to utilise the creativity we have.

If Obertan plays I will lose the plot. He may have potential but at the moment him and Simpson give us no attacking qualities down the right. I have never seen a winger with pace to burn not try and beat his man, it's a joke.

You can guarantee this won't happen, but I'd like to see this:

    ---------------Krul
    Santon--Williamson-Coloccini--Raylor
    -------Cabaye-----Tiote-----------
    Ben Arfa ----------Vuckic-------Jonas
    ---------------Ba----------------------

    Krul
    Simp Colo Williamson Raylor
    Obertan Vuckic Cabaye Jonas
    Ben Arfa
    Ba

I have a feeling Pardew will play this. I'd be happy with it.

We all know Pardew will not play Ben Arfa their and we have no other choice tbh except for Sammy who looks really raw right now.

Can't believe your'e all wanting Tiote dropped when everyone had a bad game except Demba last night. I think Williamson should play with Coloccini because they do ok together. Anyone that thinks Perch is up to it now is mad. I would also sugguest having Cabaye back and Ben Arfa playing will give us a lift.

Come on Alan you have to change something , even if it means playing benny on the wing.

I'd like him on the wing v Bolton. He'll get out muscled playing in the hole in front of their back four. Vuckic has the stature to play there.

Me to but Pardew won't do it because he's said he'll never play on the wing whle he's manager. To be honest Jonas has been poor for a while and Obertans well. He might aswell ditch playing with wingers.

We were just all over the place basically. Hopefully we can just get the first goal at Bolton that would help us. Cabaye with Tiote works regardless of how good Harris did at shooting. BenArfa and Ba up top can work, however Benny needs to get in behind in my opinion and we must replace Perch at CB. If we do that we should be ok.

Bolton have no pace in their team which will suit Colo. If we lose this then something is deeply wrong with the team.

I'm not being big headed but we have better quality than them in all departments so we should win this.

Willo should be back to full fitness, but we all know Pardew doesn't like to change the team. In my opinion it has been down to Pardew that we have only got 1 point from the last three games. His starting tactics and subs have been very questionable.

  18. I don;t understand this crap about Colo not being good up against pace since last night. So this means he's crap against pace and strength now?

He, like all center backs, will get out paced by quicker strikers.

Normally his positioning would make up for it though, but last night it just didn't. Whether people blame Colo, Perch or Pardews ridiculously high line is up to them. Personally I think Pardew was to blame.

This is nonsense by the way, fullbacks are allowed to (and are encouraged to) go forward, and its very much Jonas' job to cover if he does. Santon and Enrique bomb on far more than Raylor ever has, and he tends to lose the ball a lot less in those advanced positions. Raylor being caught 'out of position' up the field is far less harmful (if players cover as they should) than Simpson being out of position hiding behind a centre half while his winger has acres of space to put a ball in or trot into the penalty area unchallenged.
