Rearing its head again. No idea if this is a reputable account
A quick Google search...
"BeFootball is generally considered unreliable for verified football news and transfer reporting. It operates primarily as a social media and rumor aggregation account, often posting sensationalized headlines or recycling rumors from other tabloids to drive engagement."

Personally I'd ignore it as a bullshit site.

Yep, going well. In his interview a while back Tom Burrell, acting CEO said it would be £200m+ . We might have improved that by finishing seventh. £3.8m per place . Depends on what they assumed.

Its mental to think a year ago some fans on here were saying its too soon to get promoted and we should spend another couple of years in the Championship <doh> <laugh>
It's one of the worst phrases going imo.

Football doesn't stand still, you need to take your opportunities when they present themselves and react accordingly.

So glad we done the business this/last season.

Even if we had have come straight back down with zero points we'd have still accumulated all that money and created a stronger squad to set us up for another promotion push the season after.

I literally couldnt understand peoples logic in saying it would be better spending a couple of seasons in the Championship? Blows my mind.

Exactly mate me neither, we had reached a point in the championship that some players had developed to s level if we didn't gain promotion we would have lost them & of course not signed ELF

Possible the same statement could be made about this season if we didn't qualify for europe, we may still lose a couple but stand a better chance of holding onto the majority
