Have to say I am continually gobsmacked by how much neutral fans are getting emotionally invested in this whole story.

Mob mentality… guilty until proven innocent on the internet & another matter in a court of law lol

Also apparently no one is allowed to make a mistake… ever…

Hate cancel culture more than any other aspect in modern society

Could do with Man City outcome happening asap - then the media will switch their attention, and when City get a slap on the wrist, the FA might be forced to be more lenient with us by comparison.

During this whole sad episode in our history I have suddenly discovered just how poisonous the media and the Internet can be. The club has been punished enough. Further punishment will leave me wondering how Man City and other clubs will be punished for their misdemeanors. The whole thing stinks like the Salem Witch trials. As someone said on here a little while ago the Internet has given a voice to the stupid. I would add the mendacious and the malicious to that. The modern world has become a very nasty place.

No their remit is to look at punishments for individuals.
Ok, thanks for that.

I thought that I had read somewhere that the FA can make recommendations to the EFL with regards to their punishments / sanctions. i.e. Force them to review their disciplinary action.
