I was watching the bladerunner the other night, the guy that films all the taking down of the ULEZ cameras - he's just been up in court, to be charged at a later date for an altercation with a traffic warden - you can imagine what it was like lol.

But there was another video of his I watched, where he was being his usual provocative self, and he was taking the piss out of two female police officers, I forget the names he tagged them with, but he was referring to their height, sort of around 5 foot for one and 5ft 2in for the other, and of course he's a big guy, so they looked like dwarfs.

He's like so who are these two going to be able to arrest. Quite cantankerously as always, but with a laugh and a smile and one of the two officers tried not to laugh.

However, all piss taking aside, maybe this is the real problem, maybe the male colleague cuffed Nowak because they know these days that situations can quickly escalate out of control when your colleagues are only short arses. They do not have confidence, so therefore do not feel safe when dealing with confrontation.

So the go to is the safeguard.

Maybe our constant aim of equal opportunities sometimes creates risks, and in to that the mix of political rhetoric from all sides, and you end up with a deadly concoction of poor decision making that results in extreme outcomes.

The whole system is too blame, not one particular copper, but it makes it easy for everyone if you make them the fall guy, rather than having to look at the more complicated and deeper problems within the force, due to the tick box exercises they all have to confirm to and a recruitment process that is desperate.

my mate the ex copper told me he had passed the entry level fitness test just before he left and i was
"get ****ed no way are you doing the cross country run in the required time with that gut "
him " its just a bleep test these days and i passed no problem as did Ron who is a really fat **** "
so yeah the physical standards have dropped but since no regular tests on existing officers were going on half of them would only catch a runner if they were in the car

Yeh that’s all good mate and I agree the police these days are a fuking joke and get no respect because no one fears them anymore

But why handcuff the guy saying he’s been stabbed and who clearly looked to me in a bad way and not the guy with the fuking Knife on his belt

My theory is that Novak was white the accuser wasn’t and so the copper cuffed the white guy for fear of community tensions bollcks that’s been drilled into them like you alluded to I think

This ****s gone too fuking far now imo

That why the rise of the so called far right is gaining momentum massively, because its not far right at all it’s just authorities are anti white these days, much the same as pinks and kingbhotspur throw the racism card at me for saying anything about anyone who ain’t a white person

For me it's not about level of fitness, although of course that is important, I'm more on about their physical presence in their size, if you are up against a 6ft 5 brick **** house of a bloke, it don't matter how fit you are, you are not having to chase them, you are trying to restrain him.

Now that can be done through vocal persuasive skills and I'm sure a female officer is more than capable of that, but the risk comes when that guy kicks off, are they going to be able to handle that, now if they've got some martial art skills maybe, however, if they don't does that thought play on the mind of their male colleagues when trying to restrain someone.

In fact we've already seen an instance of this at Manchester Airport, where the guy laid out what was it, four coppers and the female copper ended up with a busted nose. I could suggest that maybe the exactly same happened here, that the quality of the recruitment process leaves a lot to be desired due to equal opportunity requirements.

Now the guys didn't fair well, but the female officers grip on the perpetrator was as much use as Sucky getting ragdolled by Fosse on a Tuesday night when there is no football.

I don't disagree with your third paragraph and I've pretty much alluded several times now to what I like to call indoctrination.

I read somewhere that about a third of met police have less than 5 yrs experience these days

Not sure on how accurate that is btw

They’ve made a complete hash of this with their **** statement initially and the more that comes out the worse it looks for the police involved and the murderer’s family. Anything that happens tonight or over the next few days is on the top bods at Hampshire Police. Ooooh the independent investigation into how ****ing **** we are is ongoing so please everyone be nice until it’s done. Dickheads.

Just seen the news there was some disorder somewhere tonight, don't know where it was. Mahmood coming out and saying it is 'completely unacceptable' - oh right is this the same unacceptable that was not vocalised during the race riots after Geroge Flloyd. Instead didn't Keir actually take to his knee instead...oh no my mistake, I should be calling them the anti race protests.

Just reading a lot about this in reddit but i will summarise my thoughts after reading the back and forth:

1. George Floyd died because the policeman actually killed him by putting his knee on him for however many minutes vs Harry who admittedly was dragged and handcuffed but was ultimately killed by the sikh kid stabbing him

2. The police in george floyds case was going to get away with it (as standard for u.s. police) whereas harrys killer is now behind bars and in jail. People are rightly angry with the rest of the sikhs kids family and now they are being prosecuted. Same with the police officers, so what is the aim of the protests?

3. Kier did take a knee for BLM. He also condemned BLM violence so no change in stance (well someone said it i tried searching for it, not sure how accurate this website is)


"Pressed on whether he backed those officers in his new LBC phone-in show, Sir Keir said: “I think a number of officers want to.

“Obviously, the violence against them is completely unacceptable as Commissioner Cressida Dick has said.”

He added: “Nobody, but nobody, thinks there's anything good about that violence."


4. My thoughts are its okay for people to be angry and protest. Leave the violence at home as usual. Thanks.

Even tho I agree with you on that particular issue it’s been coming for years for various reasons

Cost of living
Hotels full of 3rd world freeloaders
Diversity and inclusion and equality being pushed into every fuking thing
Pakistani grooming gangs
Muslim terror attacks
Any kind of patriotism being labelled racist
Whole towns and city’s being taken over by foreigners who don’t want to assimilate or be part of British culture
Refugees getting social housing and milking the benefits system for everything they canl
pink haired lesbians with septum rings and upper crusty leftards backing them up
Boat hoppers raping and murdering our children and women
Mass public praying and chest beating in places where terrosists of the same religion murdered people
Years of free free fuking Palestine hate marches and so on……and so on.

Natives are pissed off and you can’t blame em tbh

I’m nowhere near them on the ‘have an asylum seeker live in your daughter’s bedroom to burn down a hotel’ spectrum but it is a tiny bit racist.

Fine post Bobby, measured and well reasoned.

Few thoughts of mine - outbreaks of rage towards Sikhs is over the top and unwarranted - if the murderer was a white kid whose brother, father and mother had done exactly the same, they would be facing exactly the same consequences - their ethnicity, culture and religion are irrelevant in that regard.

The specifics of this incudent do however raise serious questions over symolic / traditional religion based rights to carry bladed weapons (however small) in public - but the weapon that caused the death appears to be quite different to the common / traditional 'kirpan' ... and I get the impression that this scrote would likely have been carrying a blade irrespective of being Sikh.
