1. I don't believe for a second that Tonda and his staff didn't know they were breaking the rules.

2. We have to take a **** you approach to everything that's coming our way next season. That starts with the FA. If they give Tonda a ban, Dragan responds with "**** off, I decide who manages our club and he'll be in the dugout next season whether you like it or not." Then, almost indiscernibly, from behind his hand says "Znamo gde delujete, a vaša teritorija više nije bezbedna." Quickly followed by "Skloniti nekoga“ as he runs his index finger across his throat, delivered with a faint smile.

3. Steve Gibson to be found floating in the Tees with his testicles in his mouth.

4. Depending how this pans out now, I may buy a season ticket.

Where has it been said they’re likely to announce a ban 1bgame into the season , or a few days before ."? Other than by rabid SR out posters on here and elsewhere, possibly by foaming and frothing indignant smoggies. How is the assertion that bans, if they are (or can be) to be applied, will be announced just before or early into next season arrived at?
No one has said they’re likely to put a ban in place .

Shandy implied it would be just the sort of thing to happen though , I happen to agree with him .

FWIW , I’m still in the Tonda out camp , but not as vehemently as I was a little while ago .

And different ways of supporting the club.

Singing ‘Sports Republic, get out of our club’ isn’t really supporting anything imo. And we know that’ll happen from some quarters as soon as we’re 0-1 down at home to Oxford

All down to opinions I guess init. If those people think the club would be in a much better place under different ownership then arguably they are supporting the club in their own way.

And we'll probably lose 3-0 to Oxford now we're not spying, well if we were playing them anyway!

If the players are backing him, and the board and owner, then I'm all for giving Tonda a second chance. Of course it could all blow up in our face, but so could sacking him this summer.

The reason neutral Championship fans are angry he's being backed, is because they know how good he is. If we went 21 games unbeaten by watching training alone, they'd be begging us to keep him on.

If football was ground zero for morality and ethics, then you'd argue sacking him would be the only option.

Do we know if they players are backing him?

I mean, this is some charm offensive that the club are on.

Not that I found it very charming, btw.

There was a report from Alfie House saying the majority are backing him, who knows how true it is.

We’ll see shortly with some players on whether they renew their deals or not.

I can understand trying to get a heads up on Ipswich and I can understand wanting to know if Hackney might be fit but I can’t understand why we would need to see if Oxford would be playing with a back four or five.
If they knew Oxford’s interim manager preferred one formation over the other, then you prepare for that but also have a plan for the other. It wasn’t as if they hadn’t already played teams that lined up with a four or five back line, so it shouldn’t have mattered enough to send someone to spy on them.

I thought that too but to be fair he pretty much has throughout spygate. I have put the video in an earlier post. It is worth a listern. One Boro fan on there who is a bit bitter though.
I haven't watched the video yet but I think Jordan has been very good throughout this. He's the one who said to an irate Boro fan that the people in charge at Boro found it amusing at first and then realised there was an opportunity to make something more of it.

Yeah I heard Aribo and Bazunu think he is the muts nuts. Damion Downs is happy to give him another chance.

The rest of the players think he is a cheating ****.

Then again, I think I’m just a rabid conspiraloon. Ain’t that just the funniest.

Henry Winter is an absolute hypocrite and almost as big a **** as Gibson.
Winter goes with whatever way the wind blows. If public opinion or opinion within a fanbase is blowing one way, that's the way he will go for attention and internet kudos. He plays to the gallery and loves nothing more than to play up to fans. I've been in group chats with national journos over the years and pretty much all of them found him unnecessarily pompous and agree that he just follows whatever the mainstream opinion of the moment is

Merely doing the bare minimum isn't enough to win me over.

The only thing that can win me back onside to SR is promotion this season and surviving in the PL next.

It will take the summer to see evidence of any direction for next season, but I am concerned the club won't be adequately prepared for if the FA bans Eckert, which is very likely to happen. I don't think being skeptical at this stage is unreasonable.
Thing is, those aspirations you have aren't guaranteed if we do get a new owner either.

Not saying people can't be skeptical, nor do I reject people's view that want a pure club, I disagree but it's a valid stance.

I was going to ask if you had any idea why he has suddenly (perhaps it's not sudden?) gone from our friendly contact at the Telegraph to arch enemy over this? Has he fallen out with someone at the club?

He’s unemployed and has been for quite some time because nobody will pay him the sort of salary he was on previously, so any loyalties between work organisations and the club are removed from consideration

I don't agree with the decision to stick with Parsons and Tonda, but at least we know where the club stands. Now to wait to hear from the FA.

I was always going to renew my ST anyway, so today doesn't change that. But forgiveness won't come easily.
