As you will all know already...it's World Haemochromatosis Week, this week.

I'm sure that you're all sick to death of hearing about it in MSM, so just a quick reminder...this condition is no joke and finding out in your later years means that the damage has been done already. Not something to wonder about. Personally, I'd never heard of it before my GP was telling me that I suffered from it.

If you're of celtic (particularly Irish) extraction and start to experience the listed symptoms (also chronic fatigue, loss of body hair, anxiety, depression, pseudo gout and any of the other joys of this ****er, that can be found online)...

DON'T **** ABOUT! GET YOUR BLOOD TESTED. IT COULD SAVE YOUR LIFE.

A word to the wise for anyone who intends to park for 6 hours or longer in the Council run car park next to the old Kendals department store off Deansgate in Manchester.
Don’t buy a ticket. Don’t do it.
As a result, you will get a penalty notice, which is £50, but reduces to £25 if paid within 14 days - considerably less that the £34 charge for parking 6 hours or more! <doh>
Manchester City Council take a bow - you couldn’t make this up <laugh>
