The method is they can't introduce it unilaterally and it has to be voted on by clubs.

Why would they revisit it? The majority of clubs wanted it in the first place so no need to revisit. The only reason to revisit is if clubs no longer wanted the rule.
Because it was initially a rushed knee jerk ruling and needed updating and would have been better added to Rule 3.4, where it would have made more sense.

"Ah, don't worry about it Saints fans. Yes it was a complete shambles from top to bottom, yes we got our strategy when discovered so wrong that even Gerald Ratner cringed, but hey we pinky promise no quitsies that we'll get it right this time.

Sack the people responsible? - don't be daft. We'd then have to find new ones. Who can be arsed with that! Besides in news to cheer you all up, Goetzpe are doing well and I'm sure you'll be happy to learn that Bazunu and Downs are coming back hungry to achieve. By the way season tickets are going up 15%."

Love Dragan
In fairness the current set up actually looks to be delivering on the pitch, which is ultimately the only real measure of success we care about.

I'm sure fans would want Solak to give us the best chance at promotion next season, which I think most agree is keeping Tonda & Spors.

As for Parsons, he didn't cause this mess and people are calling for his head as they want someone to blame.

Yeah I think ultimately, Spors and Tonda are too good for this league, and give us a great chance at getting promoted.

The problem with this line of thought is that a majority of clubs were happy with it at the time.

If they've all changed their mind and now think the same as you it'll get changed this summer.

The way this plays out;

We keep Tonda, everyone gets excited, and then he fails to win in the first five games of the season, is sacked in October, and our club and fans look even more f*cking stupid than they already currently do.
That is a possibility if we sack him and replace him.

If we sacked him and got off to a bad start, all fans would be saying "our first good manager in years and they decide to sack him and replace him with this idiot".

Ultimately they will be judged by on field success. So if you are making the decision would you rather the guy who has proven he is capable at this level, or would you roll the dice for our 6th manager in 3 years?

He's the ****ing CEO! How can he bear no responsibility for the awful way the club handled the situation?

And Solak is the owner, by that logic, it is mainly his fault.

To clarify, I said Parsons didn't cause this. As in, the actual problem here is the spying, which Parsons had nothing to do with.

Yes, the senior leadership responded very badly, which includes both Parsons and Solak. But if you are calling for heads to roll for the poor response, you should also want Tonda and those that actually comitted the offence to go to.

Sacking Parsons but letting the rest of them off the hook makes no sense.

True, but he is responsible for the god damn awful defence by the club and for shooting his mouth off at Boro.
