Eze deserved to miss with that run up, how many years is it since the stuttered run up was outlawed yet players still do it and get away with it <doh>

Gabriel missing was lovely, wouldn't have minded seeing Rice miss but that's purely because the Arsenal fans think he's the reincarnation of god himself

It hasn’t. You just can’t stop once you’re going to kick the ball.

Saka only managed 4 completed passes in the 83 minutes he was on the pitch. One of the most overrated players in modern times
He was primarily used as the fullbacks double-up partner. They could literally have used a lad from the reserves to do that job, and all just to stop the Georgian dude who isn't Marmaduke. They just focused 100% on stopping PSG from playing. ALL THAT SAID - we did that at Paris last year and, thanks to an Ally wondershow, we came away winners. In fairness to Arteta, they nearly won tonight because at halftime, I couldn't see PSG getting a shot on target.

Think the rule is you can slow/almost stop your run up, but you can't stop as you are about to kick the ball. So you couldn't run up to the p-spot and suddenly stop trying to get the keeper to dive.

Eze did stop. I think it be a straight forward, run up and kick it. The advantage is already heavily stacked in the penalty takers favour anyway

By stuttered, I actually meant stop. He stopped.
It’s not that you can’t stop though. As you go to kick the ball, you can’t then stop. It’s what players were doing. Essentially faking a kick, not making contact which lets the keeper dive then rolling it in.

You can do anything you want up until your kicking foot starts. Essentially like a golf swing, once you’re in processing of hitting it you can’t pull out.

Isak scored great goal for Sweden today. Ball hit up to him on his own on a fast break and dribbled it from half way into the area and curled into far corner.

When in form his ability on the ball is quality, just need manager to find a way to get best out of him. It’s one thing with Slot in that he couldn’t find a way to get CF involved in play.
