Marcus Stewart has lost the use of his arms, he hopes there's a cure for MND soon, or life at 53 wouldn't be worth living. Sad news indeed, after being diagnosed September 2022. Also, Stephen Darby is suffering further, as he is now unable to move or speak. Sad news after we've lost Doddi Weir and Rob Burrow. We need to keep discussing this disease to keep it prevalent and praying a cure is found shortly.

God bless them all.

Medical science has come so far but there is still hell of a long way to go, re: MND. There are some awful diseases and syndromes.

Horrible thing. This one goes under the radar a bit, you just hope they get it kicked somehow. Maybe the use of AI in research can help. Hope so for Marcus and all the others hit.

I met him in a pub in Durham once. He was just sitting quietly with a half pint. It was when Wilko was in charge and he had been frozen out . Really nice bloke, no edge on him and no complaints. Did great for us later as well.
