Better a tosspot than some of the ****bags on here who begrudge our players a celebratory drinks fest this week, they put the cur in curmudgeonly. :emoticon-0138-think

It's our time.
100%,they're entitled to a week in the sun and if the owners paying, why not...Wish I'd have been invited:emoticon-0116-evilg

The only thing that didn't really sit right with me was a picture I saw of them all on the plane with big wads of money in their hands but I wouldn't make a song and dance out of it:emoticon-0148-yes:

That pic was crass

Wembley holds 90k - the upper bowl holds abou 40k, which was almost empty - couldn't see how many were in the Rovers part - but there were many empty seats in lower bowls too - I'd be surprised if there were many more than 40k overall - very disappointing really - more seem to want to attend magic weekend at Evertons ground in early July - this is the first year they've moved Challenge Cup from later in the season - I think that decision failed - about time it was moved 'up Norf' and bin off Wembley or move it back later in the year when it's not competing with football / play offs at Wembley the week before not to mention a large contingent flying off to Las Vegas - it's too much

It’s rare you’ll find me defending Rovers fans, but in the last 12 months or so they’ve had, 2 Wembley trips, 1 Vegas trip, 1 Old Trafford Trip, 1 Magic Weekend trip (and have likely also bought for the upcoming one), 3 trips to France, 2 neutral venue semi-finals and the World Club Challenge.

Our Wembley trip last week won’t have helped as well.

That’s thousands for an individual and tens of thousands for families, it’s just not sustainable for a fanbase in a relatively low income area of the country.

Fair play to them, it’s a nice problem to have, but I wouldn’t throw shade on them for the attendance yesterday.

I’m not sure what Wigan’s excuse is!

Agree - and there was also the Amsterdam Challenge last year - and except for the trips to France, I've been to all of them - as you say, it does add up - especially Las Vegas which was easily £2k to £3k each

The RFL are now saying it was 56,383 which looked to me from the TV coverage as them padding the numbers.

I was surprised at how bad Rovers were.

they were as bad as they were in Las Vegas - possible reasons - very hot temperatures, maybe Rovers players are older and less fit- or perhaps playing very good teams and less hunger now they have the trophies than when they were fighting for the trophies - either way some players failed to perform yesterday - Lewis was playing injured most of the match and was anonymous most of the time

wondering what bans they will give for the Wigan tackle on Leyland - probably the most dangerous I've ever seen, lifting him upside down and ramming his head into the floor

Lowest in 8 years not 80 - Catalans Warrington was only 50k in 2018
All the national headlines are saying it was lowest Wembley Final crowd for 80 years. Besides that comparing Catalans with Wigan and HKR, supposedly 'Two of the biggest names in British Rugby League' as the BBC kept reminding us yesterday is hardly a fair comparison.

It was horrendous.
Not sure right player was sent off? Wasn't it as much if not more down to Nsemba? Both off?
