Foden and Palmer have received criticism for their inconsistency this season but Saka seems to escape this criticism and even gets picked for England despite being worse than the other two. Barely touched the ball against PSG and he’s Arsenal’s most dangerous player. He’s overrated as ****. Stick him back at left-wingback.

Rice was average as well. I don’t know when, why or how Rice and Saka entered into these ‘world-class’ conversations.
I think cause modern footballs a bit ****

Theres not really any flair or vivaciousness anymore

Just workhorses, extremely athletic, fit, rigid systems

I miss the kakas and the ozils

Anthony gordons gone to barca and had bayern after him
Cause hes good at tracking back and pressing

Ozil is hard to miss, never seen together in the same room as Marty Feldman, and sung about by Culture Club. :emoticon-0138-think

It's our time.

I get that but players at the elite level should have both athleticism and world-class technical ability. Kvaratskhelia and Doué certainly do. Both are very athletic and fit but they’re also two of the best wingers in the world when it comes to dribbling, positioning, decision-making etc. Vitinha and João Neves both have great stamina but they’re also world-class midfielders.

Saka and Rice are nowhere near that level. Saka can cut inside and take a decent shot but by every other metric, he is not a world-class winger. Rice is strong and athletic and can take a decent corner but he’s not comfortable receiving the ball from deep under pressure and can’t dictate the tempo of a game.

The English media and English pundits have overrated these two bums for too long.

Saka had to play a different game against PSG
