Ex Hornet Sam Dalby has scored an excellent goal to give Bolton a 3-1 lead against Stockport in the League 1 play off final. Looks like he could be playing against us next season - as could Jack Bonham.
Doing a Nick Wright from 99 it seems .

From BBC

Bolton conceded to Watford with an amazing overhead kick in the 1999 play-off final. Sam Dalby's effort in 2026 is equally acrobatic.

Ex Hornet Luis Suarez scored to no avail as Sporting Lisbon exited the Portuguese Cup - beaten by 2nd Division side Torreense.

A big shock! Ex-Hornet Luis Suarez will be very disappointed. Six 2nd Division teams had previously reached the Portuguese Cup final, but all of them had lost to Primeira Liga (1st Division) sides. Sporting Lisbon won the league and cup double last season and had finished second in the Primeira Liga this season. Torreense (a small club from a town near Lisbon) still also has the possibility to be promoted. The team drew 0-0 at home to Casa Pia in the first leg of the relegation/promotion play-off, which was only three days before the cup final. Torreense finished in third place in the 2nd Division and Casa Pia finished three places from the bottom of the Primeira Liga. The second leg at Casa Pia takes place next Thursday,

No fairytale ending - Casa Pia won the second leg 2-0
