It was absolutely bizarre wasn't it.

None of the people around me stopped singing and seemed to be just waiting for the equaliser, then the winner ...

... when we went ahead it was like a destiny from above.
Something has changed in me watching the lads this season.

Before, if you take Sunday for instance I would be waiting for them to equalize in the last minute then everything falls apart.

Sunday never felt that for one minute we were not going to get the three points.

Same for the visitors away....very comfortable we would would do our "till the end" performance and get the win.

I think this is all down to the caliber of the team we have....Xhaka's amazing leadership....we have top, top players then I haven't seen before.

The vulnerability for us was early days with so many new players but once we navigated that it was onwards and upwards.

Major credit to RLB and his team for this.

After the win at Chelsea even Paul Merson said we were a very dangerous team to play against.....very true.

If the only problem next season is that we have extra games....then bring it on!!!

Flo and his team will bring in the extra squad players we need.....HTL!!!

West Ham. Went to it wondering how the season would pan out considering we were favourites for relegation. I was absolutely blown away by the performance and the result and left the ground looking forward to the rest of the season.

Derby games obviously, but mainly the away one and jumping around like a lunatic with my daughter.

Sunday against Chelsea was special. Everyone non-football that I've spoken to since was surprised we were in the stadium for an hour afterwards celebrating.

Quite a few to choose from.
Leeds away, Spurs away,
Sunday v Chelsea was special.
West Ham on the opening day was an indication of what was to come,
but the game that stands out for me was Palace away, 0-0. Roefs had a blinder and that was when we showed what we were capable of and I thought we are not out of our depth here!

That game did cross my mind. Palace were flying at the time and I was really happy to get a point there. I remember the game pretty well as I was sat in a crowded bar in Tenerife with 3 Sunderland fans

Been quite a few crackers for various reasons but I think my favourite was the home game against Chelsea. Despite all we've achieved this season, if we'd lost and results had gone against us it'd have felt a bit disappointing.

However, this team stands strong when it matters and that last game felt like a culmination of everything we've been working towards since Dreyfus took charge five years ago. There was so much to be proud about in that performance.
