I actually think the Championship is going to be a belter of a league next season so quite glad in a way to be in it. So many brilliant derby matches there. You've got 5 of the most fierce rivalries in English football.
I can't recall so many great derbies in one league before.

General attitude towards it was that it’s too busy with too much **** going on. They knew what each of the things meant tbf so wasn’t like they hadn’t done some research just felt it was cluttered and **** and looked like an 8 year old drew it
It comes from an era when we were affectionately known as the “ball scarf sea trees”. The chant was a bit wordy so we became known as the saints.

100%! Weirdly slyly buzzed that we did all but go up haha!! Just gotta sort the mess out then goooo (when have we not had to do that under SR tbh - should be veterans by now at dragging us out the dirt lol)

Be a shame to lose bunch of players, but in fairness we said end of last season we wanted to see back of half of em anyway, then they somehow pulled out the bag due to Tonda & team

Wow, so wrong. I love our badge and would be strongly against any change to it (with the except of removing the Americanised soccer ball for the original football found in previous editions)

We 100% have the best badge in football. I would be beyond raging if they changed a single thing about it.

It identifies us immediately
There's a story behind it
It looks ****ing mint

Absolutely ****ing buzzing for next season. Looks a really strong, competitive league. Love it.

In a weird way, despite the anger and embarrassment, getting booted out the play-offs is a weird blessing in disguise cos we got the joy of last season, without the burden of promotion. Win-win.

Every cloud, etc. Be realistic, would you rather support a team that is doing well, probably very well, in one league, or one that gets beaten in the league above on a regular basis, with little expectation of anything other than keeping our heads above water, and avoiding relegation. Playing in the Premier League may mean that you get to see the best that money can buy (opposition teams), but I'd rather that Saints are successful, and are likely to win games, than face weekly drubbings. If watching Premier League players is the pinnacle of achievement, then fair enough, there's always the televised matches, but I want to support my club, and see it do well. Of course, if we get promoted next season, then the Premier League is where everyone wants to be. Fickle? Moi?

Bookies odds on next season have us finishing 9th. Seems very generous, think we’d all snap your arm off for a top half finish and maybe a chance of sneaking into 8th and a playoff spot

Impossible to say at this stage. We've got one of the biggest budgets though and 4 points shouldn't be too much to make up so should be getting play offs minimum.

We could clear that by the second game and there'll be teams still on zero by then. We dropped more than that under WS this season and still made a run to the playoffs and nearly squeaked in to second and now there are 2 more spots to grab

Yeah but next year we won’t know the opposition line up 71 hours before.

What’s the betting we get Lincoln first game? Our last two seasons in the Championship we’ve got a team promoted from League One.

But we were a relegated team on those two occasion. I'd be pretty sure that Lincoln will play West Ham or Wolves.

We'll get Boro.
