Kenny McLean has signed a new 2 year contract:

And the Pinkun has now picked up the Luke Graham rumour without any club denial:

Not completely sure how I feel about this. Kenny is a fantastic captain and has been impressive for us this season, BUT I also want to see more of Jacob Wright next season and don't want his development to stagnate - he needs minutes. We saw the growth in his performances at the end of the previous season when he had a run of games.

Kenny was our player of the season and a huge influence as captain. Wright did have 13 starts and 15 sub appearances which is not bad for a 20 year old. The competition will be heavy and he'll need to make his claim.

Apparently Josh is set to miss out according to the Pinkun:

Former Norwich City striker Josh Sargent is set to miss out on Mauricio Pochettino’s 26-man USA squad for this summer’s World Cup, according to reports. The 26-year-old, who joined Toronto FC following a drawn-out transfer from Carrow Road in February, has struggled to hit top form in the MLS and now appears to have fallen short of selection for the home major tournament next month. A report in The Guardian claims Sargent has not made the cut, with the USMNT head coach instead opting for Coventry City’s Haji Wright, AS Monaco’s Folarin Balogun and PSV Eindhoven’s Ricardo Pepi as his attacking options."

Makes you wonder whether he's brought about his own misfortune.

Connor Southwell's pre-season assessment:

"For the first time in a significant period, City aren't in a summer that requires a rebuild. Instead, they just need to add to the already strong foundations established by Clement, who miraculously mustered a points-per-game rate of two since the start of 2026 despite injury crises that left him often without a left-back, with one fit striker and very few wide options. Clement has got a tune out of a very promising squad, one that still needs strengthening in core positions but where he has already raised the level of several players. Coventry serve as a useful guide. Last summer, they added just four senior signings. Beyond goalkeeper Carl Rushworth, the three outfield additions started 17 Championship matches between them. They entrusted a group who enjoyed a similar surge under Frank Lampard in 2024/25 to continue their momentum to good effect."

Hopefully we'll do the same.

A big Gabriel Sara transfer could help the summer budget. We sold him for around £15m with a 15% sell on fee, which would work out at around £3m for us if he signs for Villa or another club for around £35m. Don't know where the higher figures cited below come from.

"It has been claimed that Galatasaray have set a £35 million asking price for the Brazilian as interest in his services increases. That could net Norwich between £3.5-7 million in all likelihood, which would be a major windfall to receive with the summer market opening next month."

Looks like they are basing that on 10% - 20% of the TOTAL sale value, not on the 15% of the £20m or so profit they will have made, that Rick mentions above?
