When we won the league cup, that was the 1st time a club like NUFC had won it, apart from the Cartel 5 ( or so I thought) for such a long time. Since we won it, we have Villa, Spurs and Crystal Palace winning cups and CP in another final. We now also have Sunderland and Brighton in Europe. Winning cups and getting into Europe doesnt seem to be that hard anymore.
This season has been an absolute disaster, warning signs were there in November with away form but even I wasn't expecting the sheer cliff edge that Eddie has taken us over. He looks absolutely bewildered and its so clear he has no idea how to turn this around.
PIF will keep faith with him and will then have to pull the trigger as St James will be toxic by November. Howe got a free ride from the fans this season, he wont get that again.
Howe has set us back 3 years - we are back to the season where Howe finished 11th in his 1st season. Wilson has to get this transfer window right but with Howe still here, I predict we will screw it up.

I have "yielded" and said no - can't see the players giving Howe enough based on this season's efforts to do anything next year.
Honestly get Iriola or Glasner in, both have proved they've got what it takes in the 2/3 years they've been in the league to develop sides to compete on modest budgets with good styles of play, both "attainable" in that they are leaving their current clubs (may have better offers tbf) and Glasner has proved he can win/progress in competitions.

Not sure about either. This season is the first time ever, for example, that Irola has got a team above mid table
I’d go Poch, Terzic, Inzaghi, Motta, Lijnders, Hoeness, Iraola above Howe.

Doing well at **** clubs isn't about top half...his brand of football is far superior to Eddie bloody Howes.

On 24 May 2026, they drew 1–1 with Nottingham Forest to confirm sixth place, the highest league finish in the club's history, which, after Manchester City lost to Aston Villa preventing the EPS from dropping down, meant Bournemouth qualified for the 2026–27 UEFA Europa League. With 57 points, the club also broke their Premier League points total for the third season running, whilst also only losing seven games, their fewest defeats in a Premier League season.
This game was also the club's eighteenth draw of the season, breaking the record for the most draws in a thirty-eight game Premier League season, and extended the club's record unbeaten run to eighteen games, having not lost in the league since a 2–3 loss hosting Arsenal on 3 January 2026.
