On 19 June 2023, the club announced the departure of manager O'Neil, with
Andoni Iraola coming in to replace him.
In the
2023–24 season, Bournemouth, led by Iraola, achieved their best points tally in the Premier League, accumulating 48 points to finish 12th.
The following season, in the
2024–25 season, Bournemouth once again broke their record Premier League points total, achieving 56 points, whilst equalling their best ever league finish of
9th in the Premier League. As well as this, the club achieved their most wins in a Premier League season (15), fewest defeats (12), most goals scored (58), and fewest goals conceded (46).

On 19 May 2026, Bournemouth qualified for
European football for the first time in their history, after their 1–1 draw with
Manchester City.
On 24 May 2026, they drew 1–1 with
Nottingham Forest to confirm sixth place, the highest league finish in the club's history, which, after Manchester City lost to
Aston Villa preventing the EPS from dropping down, meant Bournemouth qualified for the
2026–27 UEFA Europa League. With 57 points, the club also broke their Premier League points total for the third season running, whilst also only losing seven games, their fewest defeats in a Premier League season.
This game was also the club's eighteenth draw of the season, breaking the record for the
most draws in a thirty-eight game Premier League season, and extended the club's record unbeaten run to eighteen games, having not lost in the league since a 2–3 loss hosting
Arsenal on 3 January 2026.
