If the players want him then keep him, its pretty clear.

Why is everyone convinced the FA will ban hi?. What punishment did Bielsa get from the FA? The laws being changed wont effect the FA as it is the club that can break those laws, not individuals.

I'm convinced because it would be weird to ignore the precedent cited by a league the FA effectively sanction.

I hope we release a statement detailing our view the sanctions were entirely disproportionate and that we are keeping the Manager on.

I mean it is an interesting point of view, how can Tonda be banned - what only from the EFL but not other leagues - makes no sense and from an employment tribunal perspective I'd imagine the EFL could be in danger there.

This is what I’m thinking is the reason for the silence. Club have been told the FA investigation won’t take long so waiting for that to be announced rather than just releasing a placeholder type announcement

“With a little bit of luck… Tonda makes it through the fight!”

“Ta na ni, ta na ni, ta na ni, ta na Tonda woiii!”

You'd think/hope that's the case but that does require the assumption that the club is competent...

It’s probably more likely they’ve all gone on holiday for a couple of weeks as planned before this all happened

Most of us think it's likely because in the club hearing the independent panel referred to the case of the Canadian Women's team when they decided our punishment. In that case several members of staff, including the head coach, were banned from all football for a year. It would be odd for the FA to ignore what happened then when this other panel have made it an important part of why they gave us the punishment they did. They may also agree with the panel that doing this during one of the most high profile EFL competitions is an aggravating factor and I think they will probably also decide that another aggravating factor is Tonda putting pressure on junior members of staff to do things they didn't want to do and shouldn't have been doing.

Did the FA punish Bielsa at all? I cant recall them doing so but may be wrong.

Tonda has done it for 3 games, Beilsa for an entire season, so his punishment likely wont be as harsh anyway

Not looked but did the FA even investigate Bielsa?

If they didn’t then seems odd they’d even be doing a seperate investigation
