I said back when McVite owner pulled his sponsorship when Liam failed to get us in the top 6 that he may well come back if we reach the EPL. I see he was with Acun at the game, so you may see them back.

A sponsor who is that fickle is a bit of a worry though, we may get reliant on that income and have it pulled right when we need it most.

Don’t like Boro but wish we were like their fans at times. Unfortunately can’t reply to this eejit.

To be honest, I am glad we didn’t do anything like that.

It felt too triumphant.

The only time I can recall us doing anything like that was at Lokeran and we didn’t have a choice there or back.

We messed up our ticket sales. Too many stages of sale and the maximum of six. Wembley itself messed us about. They didn’t sell their club sections and held them back. Which disjointed the stages. Better seats became available after the first stages had already being sold.

Boro also sold block by block (so I am told) which makes sense for a quick turnaround.

In the scale of things if you're getting home around 1.00am does an hour earlier or later really matter?
No it didn’t to be honest but it’s people who have no concept of anyone else that irks . There was a v young family on the bus near us maybe that hour might have helped their parents . Other than that going on coach to the match instead of driving every time was a decent call .

Fans do that all over Europe on the way to league games. Our ticket office seems their job is to make buying a ticket as difficult as possible. My lad was in the safe standing area on Saturday and looking round he noticed whilst our fans who wanted to sing were dotted all over the place whilst Boro’s seemed grouped together. Again, the way tickets are sold plays a part in that. He said a group of Fenerbahce fans near him were creating more atmosphere than the Citynfans nearby.

Didn’t stop us going up though plus many are going to Wembley again this week after legitimately getting to another final with the RL Squad.
Getting to Wembley for a RL final is not as difficult as getting there for a play off one.

We struggle to get the KCOM bouncing and people wonder why the atmosphere at Wembley was, at times, flat.

We need to all turn out for the parade tommorow, if you can’t get to town stand somewhere on the route. Need to show the love lads, these boys deserve it…
Up the ****ing tigers !!!
Apologies
I’m not going to be there, which means I’ll have to buy @SW3 Chelsea Tiger a pint or several another time

I personally like the 'ultras' that boro and palace do

Its not hooliganism

but some people prefer the more dynamic atmosphere that happens in big games

Do think though in a lot of games, having some groups organising singing helps massively

Yes, I wish it was proper bouncing but thought it was quite good tbf ... before, during and after.
Noise at times was incredible.
It was incredibly hot...Their lot where in the shade for most of the match, whereas the City end had no protection at all. Overall, I thought the atmosphere from our fans was great. But God was it tense. At times I didn't know if I wanted a sh!t, shave or a haircut. I was dreading pens, we all were. Thank God we got the winner and the relief came pouring out of everyone.

It will really hit home when we get the fixture list and we see we are playing Liverpool and Chelsea instead of Lincoln and Charlton <cheers>
I hadn't thought about that until you posted it, but for me not a single bit of excitement.

Well, not any more than any other fixture list day it will only be different as there won't be any "thats going to be a tough/easy run of games" as it will all be tough.

As always, I'm going to see City, not the opposition. I have no more interest in, say, Man City than I do Oxford Utd.

Leeds will obviously be good when we beat them though. 6 points against Arsenal would be good too. Cheating, spitting bastards.

The junction of Ennerdale/Sutton Road for me at around 3.30...Its a shame Sutton Fields had to burn down, or I'd have been in there for a swift one, or three. I hope Victoria Square is rammed and it's a great occasion for those who make it to show their appreciation to the lads for doing what they have achieved. Absolutely an amazing achievement for a set of lads written off as no-hopers from minute one.

Isn't there another pub on the roundabout where Sutton Fields pub is? Whistling Goose?
