At least our awful performance settled that one! I was on the fence before but find it hard to deny that we looked three times as dangerous when he was on the pitch. The boy played very well and we will only create goals when he plays. Two new CB's in January and we'll be okay I think.
Lost count the amount of times i've said this mate, glad you've finally realised it. I'm not sure im too bothered if Adel wants to leave in January, but at the moment he needs to play and start every game. Without him theres no creative spark, no flair, no urgency going forward. Not to mention the way he can turn a game at the drop of a hat. If we lose him in January and dont find a suitable replacement, I really feel for our chances.
he made an obvious difference when he came on. hopefully will start against swansea, but i doubt it. think we'll need more than a couple of cb's in jan though.
I watched a genius tonight come on in a game and instantly look the best player on the pitch The prats on here who doubted him should be ashamed Barton was he on the pitch? We lose Adel we are ****ed 100% right or 100% right Play him now and we will be fine he also breeds a better vibe to the team Barton and Wannock owe us everything now as first half it was Sheffield United
Surely Barton/Warnock must concede by now it can't get any worse, especially next 2 games, and try something different.
Taraabt gets my vote, always has. Tonight proved how much we need him. Total lack of creativity in the first half.
For 20 minutes Adel was absolutely brilliant, madrid their with checkbook? But other wise no points, a disaster, but posiives were there, SWP for 20, mackie ecored !.HH was a threat, Paddy made great saves. Neil praising Adel on the official. 3 points at swansea and hope is there again!
complete dross until Adel came onto the stage and gave us some artistry.. has Joey been picking the team? has Warnock lost the plot? hard work is not enough at this level..
I think Adel should play every game and I'm a big fan. But let's not get carried away by his performance yesterday. We conceded one in the first half, two in the second. Whilst the goals were all down to Traore, HH, Faurlin and Mackie.
Cold, The reason I would disagree with your second statement (that the goals were down to the players listed, and not Taarabt) is that having a player like Taarabt on the pitch forces the Sunderland players to keep an eye on him. They have to keep an eye on him at all times, not afford him space on or off the ball which can make it easier for the rest of the team to score. Just my opinion however.
