Final game of the season and at home.

Obviously will be overshadowed by Robbo and Salah playing their last game for us and hopefully this will give the team an extra incentive to win, they need some incentive based on recent performances.

It would be nice to celebrate with a win which will guarantee the CL for us, if Bournemouth beat City tonight.

Date 24/6/26 Kick off 16.00, as with all other games as it is the last day of the Prem season.

Looking at our last two home games against serial losers Spurs and Chelsea, I don’t have much confidence in our team or the manager to deliver a win. I hope I will be proven wrong

How has it possibly come to this in just 12 months.

League champions to " ****ing hell I hope city win tonight because we've got no chance against Brentford at home"

Sweet jebus

So with champions league pretty much sorted. It now becomes more about whether Slot plays Salah.

<peacedove> Long season, Arsenal are champions,, Manchester has won the two domestic cups. Liverpool not too sure of the firth spot in the league., We need to beat Brentford to be certain of the firth position in the league.. Chelsea can not catch us, We are on 59 points Bournemouth on 56 points but Liverpool have a better goal difference,2026/2027 is nothing to write home about, Arne Slot has completed messed it up.
Darren England has been appointed as the referee.

Until it's mathematically done I'm not ruling anything out.

I agree that failure to qualify is unlikely but I don't agree that it's impossible.

Tbf I spent most of my youth and early adult life watching Liverpool finish 2nd one season and outside the CL spots the next so at least we actually won the title this time.

Missed out on the 70s & 80s started to really get into football in the early 90s. Some massive ups and downs during that time to this.

But I don't think I've seen an implosion quite on this scale.

Always had at least an iota of hope that we'd manage to do something (often blindly and without any reason) always had faith that we'd come good.

This season sucked the life out of me. If you read back on the match threads you can visibly see me going through the five stages of grief.

I'm actually feeling sadder at prospect of Robbo leaving this Sunday... I love the artists... The Torres, Alonso, Salah Suarez etc but I've always loved the heart and engine players more... Of Klopps lot: Milner, Andy, and after my doubts Hendo... Of that front three my favourite was Firmino...

It's basically the very end of that team. I know it is inevitable but sad nonetheless

Losing some legends tomorrow, especially Robbo because he brought a lot of character as well as ability and desire. Mo is mo and I will never forget last season and what he achieved. Brentford will be up for this not least their keeper, better than what we will have when Ali goes

The site will not let me upload the official team sheet, hopefully not a premonition of doom!

Anyway Salah and Robbo start their last game, and maybe Allison does as well. Endo will do a cameo as it is his last chance to play for us as well. Unfortunately Gakpo and Macca (hoping for another Oscar winning performance from him if he gets a slight contact) start and Jones will play RB, unless Slot puts Sobz there. Rio starts.

Wirtz is on the bench as is Isak, the latter will probably be injured in the warm up, or even the dressing room when putting his socks on.

Can't see it being a great game based on current form.

Today is the day!

Two nil down, struggling like ****, slot makes the decision.

Cheisa comes on for the last 7 seconds and scores a hat trick.

Slot pumps his chest, fsg know they've made the right choice for manager. Fans go loopy and wonder why they ever questioned the genius that is arne slot.

Hoping for us to be in a position where I can follow the relegation battle without having to worry about an unlikely goal swing.

Did adidas forget to manufacture some new shorts to go with the shirts as they are a different shade of red…
