What a day and what a result.I arrived back home at 8.20 this morning after just short of 10 hrs on a bus,Lady Ric fed and watered me and tucked me up under the duvet after 48 hrs of sleep deprivation,dehydration and hobbling around London. I've just emerged from under it...
Massive shout out to the players,coach,staff and Chairman of Hull City AFC and Bet 365 for funding my outing....31/10 was quite the gift,as was McBurnie first goal at 17/2.
Special mention to a young lad of 20 years(just a pup in real terms)on the National Express coach we travelled up on during the night.Supported us all his days(half English)and goes to 5 or 6 games a season,and having jumped off our Coach at 7.40 this morning he then had to run for the Glasgow to Aberdeen bus....Don't know if he posts or even looks on here but if you do,respect!!
Huge day in our Club's History,I feel privileged to have been there and proud and honoured that some of our Tigers travelled from foreign shores and some in particular who ticked another box on a bucket list(you know who you are).

Honestly we watched him go all around the middle tier block by block getting everyone to sit down, was a proper mardy arsed **** too.
Sounds like someone has a drum at Bolton V Stockport game. Didn’t notice a drum yesterday watching on TV.
Some of our fans would love him. My lads were behind goal at Cup Final. All around them City fans were telling people to sit down. One called a steward and said he should throw them out. He said throw people out for standing up at a Cup Final? How many football matches have you been to? Some are decent.
The fella on the left made a couple of quid being Turkey's main importer of oil and coal from Russia the last forty years. Think he already owns several football clubs and another sports club/franchise in the States, so no doubt he will have some sort of interest now...
Part of yesterday was bumping into people you haven’t seen for years and having a beer. As I get older I’m losing mates or some of us have moved away. Adds to all the day. Special mention to the young Tigers ( like my son and mates) who are seeing the club I wished to see 40 plus years ago and love it like I do with a passion. I used to travel to some of the pits of the lower leagues( and still love the memories). There journey is different but live and breathe the club.
