Right result really.

On tomorrows game I'm still rankled by Spurs getting a free pass at Villa and while I don't want us to do the same (and I think we won't and that we'll win) I'd rather see West Ham stay up.
My sense of fair play agrees with you but my real reason for wanting spurs to go down is it would be hilarious. Horrible entitled breakaway league club that they are.

In terms of who lined up that’s correct. However gyabi makes the hull squad when fit and Hackney will be a Leeds player soon <cheers>
What is it you see in Hackney? He's not a dead cert to start in a very ordinary Middlesbrough side and I dont recall ever seeing him run a game. Usually you and me are on the same page but I dont think Hackney makes it here. Interested in your take.

Not sure about the not being a dead cert to start comment. He’s the first name on the team sheet at Boro and their form has imploded since he’s been crocked. I know a lot of Boro fans as I live near there and they all consider him their stand out player.

I agree he’s maybe not a ‘run the game’ type of player more a cog in the wheel but he has a really good all round game, and, unusually, for a midfielder makes driving runs on the ball when he finds pockets of space and can pick a pass. He plays in a side that dominates possession but even allowing for that his Progressive pass stats and carries are off the charts. Championship player of the year. 23. Only 1 year left on his contract. He’s a boro boy, would rather stay near home.

Am I convinced he’ll make at PL level? Not really - it’s harder to predict for midfielders but he has the potential to. Question mark might be his physicality.

I’m not sure it’s a position that’s a priority for us but he would be really good in transition… And better than our more physical midfielders at breaking down tight defences. I’d see him as a tanaka replacement. Is he better than AO? Dunno, he’s a bit different.

Just my take fella. Respect your view as always.

Didn't realise he has been carrying a knock to be honest. Just seen him named on the bench recently and presumed he was dropped.

Well hello viewers welcome back. I have been here all alone waiting.
Today is win win win even if we lose. Win and send hammers down. Lose and potentially relegate spurs if Everton get their arrse in gear. Sadly i would not bet on Everton as too many of their players will not take it serious.

This site is

Currently in France and relying on using one of Ell’s streams to watch it later so good to see it back up and working.

If this ****ty site crashes again I have no idea how to get one of those streams which will be annoying.

Afternoon all from an overcast, breezy and chilly spain, 25c.
What a nice way to end the season, watching other clubs suffer the pain of relegation.

Forza, fawanews.sc will have it on and you won’t need a vpn from france.

Out this morning watching the lad play cricket for the juniors. Hot and sunny in my little rural village. Steam train puffing past as the cricket match played. Lovely setting.

Lad opened batting and was out 2nd ball for 0. He dropped an easy catch when fielding and bowled 1 over which took him 9 balls because he bowled 3 no balls. That one over went for 6 runs. He's not happy.

At least it was sunny.

Your outburst about how Meslier would have caught it is not going to help anyone ;)

He's better at bowling but for some reason they put him as opening batter today. Opening bowler was their best bowler by a distance. First ball whistled past the stumps. Lad didnt really move. 2nd one was on the money and my lad left the gate open and it cleaned him out. He's still whingeing about the decision to let him open now.

Still, he's got a cup game tomorrow evening in Keighley so he can only stew on it for a day. Not sure the setting will be as idyllic over that way. I try and stay away from Keighley as much as possible.

Wife tells me to keep my opinions to myself at his games. Well....that's me putting it politely. I think she threatened to "twat me" if I didnt shut up last season at Settle when he didn’t run when he should have done.

Im like one of those tourette people. I need a spoon stuck in my gob to stop coaching from the sidelines. For the most part I do keep quiet. Im getting better at it as long as the club bar is shut. If I have a couple of pints watching then I try and get the mum and dad's chanting. Wife says im a nightmare.
