On the train back to Manchester, lost my voice, but what a day.

****e game if I’m honest.

Best team lost, but the right team won!

We have a hell of a lot of work to do this off season, otherwise we’ll be right back down beating Derby’s lowest
Why did the best team lose?
Pandur didnt even have one save to make

They edged and edged while we defended resolutely

Best team lost? Don't agree with that, they looked impressive in possession in midfield but created no chances. We weren't great but we won.

They played better, we couldn’t get a grip of the game for most of it, we defended very well, but pretty piss poor for 90 minutes.
If they could have finished, it wouldn’t have been a shock.

I was supposed to be there today. I have a 6 month old son who we found out had complications when my parter was 20 weeks pregnant. After he was born he was thriving and continues to thrive. He has a large cyst on his brain though. The neurosurgeon cleared us to fly and we booked flights from Aus to land in London the weekend of the play offs hoping we would make the top 6. At our last scan 6 weeks ago they told us that they wanted to operate soon. So we had to cancel the flights. We then found out after the milwall game that he would be having his surgery on 19th May. Good job I didn’t book a quick solo trip back for the final!
Surgery was a massive success, we were discharged from hospital 2 days ago, and despite a small scare with swelling and a quick trip to A&E this afternoon to double check it was ok, we watched the game together, me in my city shirt and him in his tiger pajamas. He’s achieved in his first 6 months of supporting city what it took me 20 years to get! I’m gutted we missed the game, but so grateful he is safe and happy. We will just have to make sure we’re in attendance next time. Hopefully an FA cup final to put right our only Wembley defeat.

UP THE ****ING TIGERS!!!!!
so happy for you,Kev. It has been a great day for all of us tigers but what a joyous result for your son. Hope he makes a full recovery. Luv from Brixham.

During the first half on the sky coverage they showed the possession stats, we were about 25ish them 75ish.

A little later may have been half time they showed that in all the play off games 21 teams had over 54% but of those 21 only 2 had won the game. That was when I said to the bloke sat next to me the game is ours. He wasn't so sure.

Hard to put it into words.... somehow our name was on the trophy. When I saw McB post that said 'we take what it ours' I knew we'd win today. I'm beyond happy for everyone involved with the club, every supporter, those that could be there and those that couldn't be. Good feeling about next season.... you better believe it...
