Unfortunately for me personally, the stink is still there and if it's true he A) didn't know the rules well enough to know what he did was wrong and B) pressured staff to do things they didn't want to do, then I don't really wish to support a club that fosters that sort of culture just because things are going okay.

Also if we continue and play well without spying then it makes question why the **** we did it all in the first place.

But most importantly this is a serious **** up that was clearly systemic and it needs to be treated like the club as such and heads should roll for this, especially from those who knew and sanctioned it.
Unlike you to be glass half empty :emoticon-0118-yawn:

Lol, I really didn't think I'd be that cheered up by this. Three bites at the cherry of winning a clutch game and blew every one! Can't win when it matters and play their games in the court of law and public opinion. Justice is served.

Well Done Hull! It's well deserved.

Unlike Middlesbrough, they behaved with dignity throughout.

By winning, Hull made sure football kept it's credibility despite the best efforts of Middlesbrough and the EFL. They bailed out the EFL big time.

There was no credible reason for Middlesbrough to be reinstated. They weren't good enough to go up. I can see them not qualifying for the playoffs next season.

As for Saints, take the punishment on the chin, sack Tonda and get a new manager in ASAP.

If he's still unemployed, Thomas Frank for me as our manager next season.

On a side note how was Hellberg in the running for manager of the season? Weren’t they comfortably in the top 2 when he arrived?

It's hilarious what has happened but I think his results record is actually better than Edwards, some teams had insane second halves of the season which brought them down.

I don't think there will ever be another team that spends nearly all season in the autos, loses a semi final and loses a final though. Had three bites at it.

I hope they don't get a proper striker in the Summer though or they will be a nightmare next season.

I heard a bit more about the culture of spying in Germany from The Guardian's Germany football correspondent on a podcast earlier, and it is clear the ethics there are a complete 180. Clubs offer open training sessions, and then close them for a period, and there is a load of spying that goes on all the time during that closed training period. Even Klopp, when he was assistant manager (not sure where - maybe Mainz?) used to dress as a security guard and remain in the opposition team's training complex for the closed training. Clearly he knew the rules in England and am sure he didn't breach them in the same way here (he had more experience and wisdom on his side as a manager than Tonda), but interesting that Liverpool themselves did hack City's scouting database not long before he arrived.

When you realise the money you spent on lawyers should have been on strikers <laugh>

Bottled 2nd
Bottled the semi final.
Cried to teacher
Still couldn't ****ing get promoted.

Maybe you can try and brief more friendly media that it's Southamptons fault and threaten legal action still. That'll do eh "Gibbo"
