Lovely morning here in the East SF Bay Area in California! My 9 year old daughter is up early with me and super fired up for the game, here’s to creating a core memory for her with her first Wembley win. As for me, I’m pacing nonstop and watching Windass and Diame on repeat on the iPad. We got this! UTT!!!

I have fond memories of Hull City and one of your supporters as best I can remember it was 1967/68
You had that incredible forward line which included Chilton Wagstaff and Houghton and during the match I got talking to a Hull City supporter who told me that your best player who I think he said his name was Jarvis and was your captain was not playing because of injury I thought to myself thank goodness for that
I think I have got the names correct but these days there are times when I can't remember if I had breakfast never mind what I had
Almost forgot I am a Ipswich supporter or follower as I have only spent about 3 years in the UK over the last 25/26 years
The result of the game was 5-4 to Ipswich but it could easily have gone the other way
Just to end on a sour note the nearest I ever got to Hull was Grimsby *%#@ that was when I was fishing out of Lowestoft we landed twice through the lock gates I only lasted 7/8 months I wasn't having that at 17 once I came to my sense's
Lowestoft is in Suffolk but only just so that's why I supported Ipswich not that other lot just up the road
I have liberated a couple of large bottles of Guinness thankfully they have reduced the alcohol content down to 5-5 per cent from 8 per cent too much in a tropical climate
