Not been on here for a while but firstly must say a big well done to Demba Ba who is becoming a legend however have to say after watching the game tonight we were outdone by a potential great foil for Ba in Shane Long that guy has a class turn of pace unfortunately all of the good work done is unravelling now simply because we lack any squad depth and that will remain the case in January as Ashley has binned the striker option as I knew he would since Steven Taylor is out for the season and our 5 mill budget has been changed to Centre Half. It is really annoying as we could push on 2nd half of the season with some investment but of course with the fat controller this will NEVER HAPPEN.
saying as no-one replies to my threads!! would like to say think Pardew has done very well and although I don't like the man think he has done an amazing job to keep the team top half having to work under the constraints of Ashley!!
I'm worried that what you say about the budget may be true, a striker and a centre half are much, much needed.
And a right back Danny Simpson is **** and needs dropping. They deserved to be booed tonight as the performance was embarrassing if thats the starting line up at Bolton, Pardew needs a long hard look at himself.
That must be the longest sentence I have ever (attempted to) read. Also how do you know we only have a £5 million budget??
