At least we are not taking Southgate.
If Tuchel does as well as Southgate then he will have done a good job.

What lose, and bore us all to death. If Spurs did that you would be the first to complain. If Tuchel does as well as Southgate then he will have done a good job.

I don't remember you complaining about England and Southgate on the contrary, hence my comment. When did I complain about England and Southgate?
International tournaments are completely different to club football for me.
More bizarre than Spence?Toney is a bizarre pick. Do we need 3 centre forwards plus Rashford and if so, someone that plays in the middle East? Take Gibbs-White over him.
I think this season at Spurs has shown how important players are who can put the ball in the net. Toney is exactly the kind of player to bring on late in a game if you need a goal.Toney is a bizarre pick. Do we need 3 centre forwards plus Rashford and if so, someone that plays in the middle East? I’d have preferred Wharton, but I suppose he’s there for experience. He’s nowhere near first choice for central midfield, so I can’t see him playing, but maybe he’s useful in and around the squad for all that comes with big tournament experience.I never get Jordan Henderson but manager after manager has valued him so I put it down to their expertise compared to my view as a fan.

Depends whether the French can get them into a cohesive teamJesus Christ.
It’s almost unfair the riches France have.

Craziest thing is I reckon it could work superbly - without Mbappe.Depends whether the French can get them into a cohesive team
We all remember Brazil's utterly mental 4222 formation back in 2006 as they tried to get Ronaldo, Adriano, Ronaldinho and Kaka into the starting lineup as the coach definitely decided all on his own...
The never ending gravy train that is football makes some people is powerful positions very greedy indeed.FIFA are such pricks.

It really is something when they make the Yanks look reasonable.
Watching live events - whether it’s football, most other sports, concerts etc - is not worth the outlay.
The days of turning up on the door and getting on for £5 or £10 are long gone.
And where do people get their money from which they are happy to part with so easily?
Football is the world's most popular sport for a reason and the increased publicity it gets from wall to wall TV coverage has convinced wealthy people to go to live matches. I think it was an unforeseen side effect. Originally everyone was more worried that being able to watch on TV would reduce crowds. But it has led to people being priced out instead. The never ending gravy train that is football makes some people is powerful positions very greedy indeed.

The Attorney Generals of the States of New York and New Jersey have launched a joint commission into accusations that FIFA artificially inflated ticket prices and created false scarcity of supply to scare fans into spending thousands on tickets that in reality still haven't sold out.
This comes in the wake of the American Hotels and Accommodation Association launching its own commission into tens of thousands of hotel rooms that were booked by FIFA and then cancelled due to lack of demand.
As of this morning, only 20% of all world cup fixtures have actually sold out, and the tournament starts in a matter of weeks.

My cousin buys stuff from DH Gate, I’d never have known they were dupes until he told me.I've got no idea.
I buy my boys fake replica kits every year for about £20 each and unless you're holding a microscope to them, you can't tell the difference from the £80 version I simply can't afford.
And I feel absolutely zero moral qualms about it, not least of all since it was revealed a few years ago that 60-70% of all kit sales is pure profit for the manufacturer.
