I don’t think everyone hates us. I ve not got that feeling here on Teesside. Most of the blokes I’ve spoken too are annoyed but see the expulsion as the fair response. They all say Saints were a good club, apart from this huge ricket. A lot the ‘hate’ is social media hype

Most people will forget about it all by the end of the year.

Good job the Boro players were back in training straight after losing to us. It's almost like they knew what the results of the kangaroo court disciplinary was before it was even held.

I don't want to hear any more accusations of impropriety. It's definitely totally normal for the adjudicators to have links with the "victim" club, and for them to have a large sway with the charging authority.

Saints had no objections to the people on the panel, let's not go down that route. We got caught, tried to lie our way out of it and got what we deserved. We ****ed up the hearing by not taking it seriously enough, our fate is entirely of our own doing and all of my anger is still aimed at Parsons and co.

Speaking of which...

Why ain't that **** resigned yet?

Pretty much me. After reading the report, if we had dealt with it properly, the outcome would have been different. Not excusing what we did, but the arrogance of the way we dealt with it is the reason we are not losing our voices at Wembley today.

Whilst p1ssed off , I feel sad today hearing about the richest game in football and what a glorious day it will be.

And that the team we beat over 210 mins of football are there and we are not.

I'm mad with Tonda, with the club, with the independent and appeal panel, with supporters of other clubs who's teams apparently have never 'cheated' but I am absolutely furious with the EFL.

Allowing those 2 games to be played when they knew there was a strong possibility we could be expelled is sick. Allowing us to buy Wembley tickets for a week after our victory.

Playing with fans emotions, their decisions have been atrocious. I hope we are still looking at some financial recourse from the EFL and that other clubs are on their backs for months to come to.

I hope they enjoy their showpiece final today but that the storm hasn't passed.

I won't be watching

If he had a shred of dignity he'd have been gone Thursday morning.

Not welcome in this football club nor this city anymore as far as I'm concerned.

Complete embarrassment of a CEO.
Might have come across badly .

I agree he SHOULD resign , but he won’t because as your first line states “ If he had a shred of dignity “ he clearly doesn’t .

I agree, it seems they were taking the "we (Saints) are the nice guys who will give you full co-operation, if you are nice to us" a bit too far. (Not sure we tried to lie our way out of it though, we didn't have much to lie about, banged to rights from Day 1). Not challenging the veracity of the Panel members or some of the dodgy evidence, left no room for any form of compromise.

We did, we lied that we weren't recording training sessions until we had to admit it due to the evidence.

And also to initiate trial by media prior to any investigation or hearing

We did lie. We sent a response to the EFL the same day as the charge which included a lie we later had to backtrack on.

Is there any proof of this or are fans just looking for a scapegoat to blame for our stupidity. It was just a joke to a lot of us, until it wasn’t.

Finally managed to remember my login. Massively agree with Blackmore above, the silence from the club around this whole thing is deafening and telling. The whole saga has been a fever dream but ultimately we cheated, these are the consequences and following the things that have come to light since the decision, I find it very hard to argue with any of the outcome.

The only thing that makes perfect sense to me is that SRs only successful period at the club was because we weren't playing by the rules. The people behind it all need to be binned and we have to accept that our reputation has been royally ****ed by this whole ordeal and will probably be for some time.

The fact that the excuse from Tonda was literally "I didn't know" tells you how much of a shambles this whole thing has been.
